I think you have found your calling slick tire racing is on fire no prep and the prepped slick tire you can race twice a week or more for at least 10,000 and there's quite a few 20 30 50 and a 100 thousand coming up it's fing crazy!
It definitely is crazy, and with prep being hard to get now it seems to be going more towards this kind of stuff. The money definitely helps too lol. Any time you can race and make money or break even doing it is pretty awesome in my opinion.
I know it would be a haul for you but if you ended up at some of the no prep events that Big Chief and/or SRC go to it would really accelerate your YT channel, given that’s a goal or not of yours.
@@ericschumacher5189 I agree for sure. At the level mine is at currently, it's hard to justify. Traveling gets expensive quick lol. My biggest downfall is definitely consistency. That would help it grow more than anything.

You and 99% of us followed Pete and in my 40 years in drag racing I've never seen that happen before with that many people following someone to a different company that should tell everything people need to know about Pete and how good he is to his customers!
Pete is the GOAT. He's also become a great friend of mine. No surprise to me seeing everyone follow. I've never had the same level of support anywhere else.

Man you give me high hopes with my 4.8 ,do you feel the 4.8 could be competitive? ,great video excited to see the car on no prep
It would need to be at a lighter weight at this race. It may have been able to get it done but I don't feel it would be reliable. I probably had 200hp or more out the back than I ever made with the 4.8. I do feel the 4.8 has a good bit left though. Just probably not reliably lol.

Love seein’ you do well with the radial stuff & no prep. not many are good at doing both because of it bein’ completely different. some cars are built specifically for one or the other. this just proves that yours is a win all do all car & setup!! it’ll only get better from here man!

Congrats Jack. You and the car are puttin in some work! What are your thoughts on parts to build a gen 3 SBE 5.3 for boost? Similar to your 4.8 parts other than being an gen 3 vs 4?
I'd do it a bit different. Wouldn't invest as much in a gen 3.
Would you do a quick rundown of what your thoughts are on making it live at decent power? Or where you think it would live at lol
@@pbclax1 same as always. High rpm and low torque. It's hard to say where it will live. Some do better than others lol. Most people go gen 4. But I've had some gen 3 stuff at 1000+hp.
