talk about bringing back memories... this was on the charts when i was in high school. i can still remember blasting this tune through the radio shack tape player in my first car (a '64 "big as a whale" chrysler newport 4-door hardtop that i wish i still had) headbanging like wayne's world with the crums from Screaming Yellow Zonkers flying out of my scraggly beard at 70 mph.... thanks for posting!
In the explanation, Queen states that "Bohemian Rhapsody" is about a young man who has accidentally killed someone and, like Faust, sold his soul to the devil. On the night before his execution, he calls for God in Arabic, "Bismillah", and with the help of angels, regains his soul from Shaitan.
This song can leave you speechless. I wish that people my age would appreciate bands like Queen. It would be nice to hear teenagers talk about how much they like Guns N Roses, Queen, U2, Aerosmith, ACDC and other bands like those!
I don't think I will ever get sick of this song.. no matter how many times I listen to it.. you know u listen to a song that many times u cant listen to it anymore... well that doesn't happen with this song!!!
What? No comments that this was used for a comic book movie trailer recently. No 'This shit brought me here and that shit took me there' stupidity?? Nice, enjoy a classic!
At first when I heard this song at first I was like what the fuck is this. How can this be at first place in the top charts. Now after listening to this I realize what kind of masterpiece this is, Freddy really threw his feelings on this song..
this is my first time listening to this song, and i am in awe of how music could evoke so many emotions and appeal to so many genres back then. i really hope i don't become a product of my generation's music
great job with the video dude/person! first video i looked at lyrics were slow but these were right on time plus i loved all the smileys and who wouldnt want to air guitar haha bomb vid thanks :)
I for one am glad that people are arguing about music. There are stupider things to argue about and this shows that there is enough music to make everyone in the world happy. I don't want to live in a world where everyone agrees about everything all the time. I prefer opposition and adversity. That's what helps us grow in character,
In that case, I salute you, friend. You and our fellow lecturers have good taste in music which is beyond admiring. In other words, HIGH FIVE THAT SHIEEEET ! *slap*
This is by far one of the greatest songs of ALL TIME. There ain't no other song that has anything on this one :3 btw the 155 people who disliked are poor boys who nobody loves..... I have spoken!
My highschool chorus started singing this randomly completely improvised and there was a band on the other side of the dressing room and they all just became silent. It was amazing.
mama ooo, didn't mean to make you cry- if I'm not back again this time tomorrow- carry on, carry on, as if nothing matters. =,( that part made me cry but i am a very emotional person!
i remember when i was like 8 i would listen to this song everyday but now all the crap on radio has dulled me to thinking that their music is good. but i needed to listen to something that refreshes me so now i remember what good music sounds like.
I put "I see a little silhouette of a man" on a science test in high school. When my teacher gave it back, she had written beneath it "Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the fandango". That was a good year.
I was late to class the other day. My strict lecturer asked me why. I told him it was because Bohemian Rhapsody came on the radio on the drive to class and I had to listen to it. He just nodded, turned around and continued on with the lecture.
im totaly with ya i'm 14 to and i was raised in a house full of musicians and older music was always played and i stared to love it i prefer older music to todays stuff
Brilliant. "I don't want to die, I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all..." Pure music genius, but 22 years too late for Freddy. See you on the other side!
you know, i've never played air guitar before, but since I was changing clothes I took the advantage of trying it. AND I LOVED IT! Now I'm not gonna be able to not play air guitar whenever there's an instrumental solo...
I wish someone tried to copy the tone of this kind of music like the Beatles being copied by most local bands in my country, the tone Freddie Mercury gives is somewhat a tone that resonates as if you're facing a full faced orchestra. The right tones just keep popping up and even if I couldn't understand english i would still enjoy it. That's the entire gravity of this song, it pushes boundaries, exhumes confidence, gets everything right and is voiced by the best of the best. Wish he didn't die
i was raised in a house full of musicians and older music was always played and i started to love it and now i prefer older music to todays music and i always listen to the raido staitions that play older music
It's out there i promise! Unfortunately we can't trust radio and tv to play the good stuff, fortunately we have the internet and there are some amazing people and bands making music that are going unnoticed. I promise if you search through youtube and facebook you will find some amazing new music.

Can you believe my teacher says that we have to change the 'mama killed a man' cause it's violent or else we can't sing it? It sucks. >> ;-;
That is bull... I'm sorry, that is ridiculous. Lol
***** Exactly! Why censor a good song that most people don't listen to these days? It's blasphemy all right.

All of my good memories from childhood are tied to this song
In that case, I salute you, friend. You and our fellow lecturers have good taste in music which is beyond admiring. In other words, HIGH FIVE THAT SHIEEEET ! *slap*
