Freddie.. was such an incredible light .. that burned so brightly.. you could not imagine such a voice could be... giving us a legacy of his journey .... going through the motions and sometimes.. lower could not get much lower... but his music remained the same... we all loved him...
We must remember that it may be hard to find someone to love but even harder still is to get that someone to love you back. You can give love to anyone but how many of them will give it back?
You know, there' a millions fine looking women in the world, dude. But they don't all bring you lasagna at work. Most of 'em just cheat on you. -Silent Bob

I feel it daily! Thank you Freddie my darling! You are still adored by millions!!!! Your music is poetry and there is nobody who will ever come close to you! NOBODY!
lets hope becuase i now you have alot of talent and this is one of my favorite songs if u go one it i wish you luck. My bigisst dream was of being on agt.
Yea like Justin Bieber was on tour and he refused to preform bc he had a cold. Oh boo hoo. Well Freddie was dying of AIDS and he still preformed his soul out on stage
You know, it's funny but in this song's warm harmony & crystalline point perfection (not a wasted note to be found), I never felt the search for love but instead like I found it. I find myself smiling from the beginning to the end every time:).
Inquisitive Cameron Ironic how people think God hates the gays-not true. Everyone sins in different ways and ALL are forgivable-EXCEPT for these 2) things: Blaspheming the Holy Spirit and receiving the mark of the beast.
Inquisitive Cameron It's not about religion-it's about a relationship. Btw-my favorite band is Judas Priest-Rob is gay and loves God too. Not a thing wrong with having a good relationship with your Father.
No, in fact, I'm 17 listen to 1920's-30's swing music. As well as Irish folk tunes. My grandparents sang it, my mom sang it, I grew up with it, I love it. It's a part of me. Along with alot of the 70's 80 90's and 2000s. Music in my opinion isn't really something that should be labeled as good or bad. I think more people should judge it more by the way it makes them feel. Country Rock, pop, alternative, techno. A lot of different genres for a lot of different people. It's a diverse world.
mayo farat I find Queen the actual Kings of rock. The king of pop is Michael Jackson. We shouldn't get confused over two gods/kings or whatever you want to call them.
This song, with its direct multiple appeals to the Lord sounds like an operatic church hymn and could indeed be sung as a prayer. The vocal interplay near the end is flawless. These guys were masterful. I wonder how many takes it took to record this? Wow.
Rip Freddie Mercury. Was a good man and nobody else could replace his fame and nobody can make songs like his. All us Queen lovers miss Freddie Mercury.
Seen Queen play at the Miami Sportatorium in 1977! Thin Lizzy opened for them! I could try to tell you what I saw that night but I wouldn't even know how or where to begin! I was 15 at the time and even then I knew what I was witnessing was history in the making! Seeing Freddie Mercury & Queen that night was so beyond unbelievably great, every band I saw after them was mediocre at best and Thin Lizzy...Pfffft, what can I say?! They were the perfect opening band for Queen! They held their own too! That night Queen and Thin Lizzy tore Miami a new asshole!
kendall Parker ~ When Freddie Mercury walked out on the stage, men, women and even the wanna be cops, we all stood there, with our jaws on the floor. If you looked up entertainer, Freddies picture would be next to it. I was so very lucky to have seen him!
This is real music, I seriously wish they'd make mucic like this again. Not that theres anything wrong with the now generation music, since I listen to it, but I just feel like this is true music.
I'm like against organized religion and all that but this song takes me back to going to church as a kid with my grandma, and the soulful black gospel songs she would sing along to. Miss ya, gram.
This group was unique. There was no one like them before they came and no group quite like them since. Their music transcends genre. It is beautiful and inspiring and special.
It's not destiny nor is it a coincidence. It's called DEMOGRAPHICS. People who listen to such songs are most likely single and lonely. And to all those people here's what works. Learn to love yourself and others unconditionally. Give love and you will find somebody to love..... The love you get to experience is YOUR OWN! And I assure you, that love will be returned 1000 fold.
Or you can just enjoy listening to these songs about love? Hate to break it to you but 95% of songs out there are about love. So saying that people who listen to love songs are most likely single and lonely is a naive statement. Although yes, you are right about loving yourself before loving anyone else, that I do agree 100% with. Appreciate the reminder.
I was looking for this god dam song ever since happy feet came out, god dam it!!! And I finally found it holey shit I'm so happy I had no idea queen sang this, that just makes it 100 times better.
same here. at first i thought it was from ella enchanted and then i saw happy feet and i just had to find it. i got one of queen's cds and this was on there. i freaked out. I was so happy
Who the fuck did you think did this song? Deep Purple? If you can't immediately hear the singing and know it's Freddie Mercury, you've got a lot to learn about good music.
if he could only be here to read these comments we would all have some more songs that represent perfection like this song , and bohemian rhapsody ! love you Freddie , R . I . P
Don't need nor want to find somebody to love. Wasted my time on losers. I have kids and grandkids to love. That's enough for me. Wasted too much of my time on guys who say the right things...but do nothing. Good bye to them all. No more. I will just enjoy the music. It's better. Now here is a guy I wish was still around. To make more of the great songs.
I'm 13 and I love Queen and Freddie himself as if I were even around when he was alive. And even at my age I think he is a music genius. If you have a problem, walk out the door ^^
I cried hard listening to this. The story is so touching, and in Freddie's case, it fit on so well that remind me of his life, had everything somebody to love
What really matters is that you're actually listening to this even now, so many years later. Whether you were born back in the early 70's or whatever, at least you're paying attention to one of the greatest bands of all time (in my opinion) instead of a lot of the stuff around today.

*sigh* I really wish I was born during Freddie/Queen’s generation. During that time, music was just meaningful as hell. Now in 2018 that’s kinda rare now.
"real music" is music that has tangible talent it in. im 17 and the first time i heard queen was when i was 7 years old and i never appreciated their music as much as i do now. there's still hope for our generation and the many that will come.
Queen just keeps impressing me like how can one band make so many great songs?!
Freddie Mercury that's how.
Freddie Mercury was a perfectionist every day of his life. If he didn't feel like the song was all it could be, something had to be changed.
*****
But when he died of AIDS...
Carter McGuire That has nothing to do with the music
*****
I was getting to that.
He died and music just got worse. It's sad.
Nobody Can replace Freddie Mercury.
Agreed.
baileyjoshA13 never ):
+John Bennaman well as of this day him and david bowie are now probably singing under pressure in the afterlife
not even Freddie Mercury can replace Freddie Mercury.
baileyjoshA13 search up somebody to love and scroll down to my impression of somebody to love that guy sounds exactly like him
Freddie.. was such an incredible light .. that burned so brightly.. you could not imagine such a voice could be... giving us a legacy of his journey .... going through the motions and sometimes.. lower could not get much lower... but his music remained the same... we all loved him...
We still do
We must remember that it may be hard to find someone to love but even harder still is to get that someone to love you back.

If i get the chance to perform on "The Voice" this song will be my weapon of choice.

I wouldn’t do that. Jordan Smith already killed it and it’s considered one of the best performances of the entire show.

I would go down on this song so hard you have no idea

freddie's range is absolutely impeccable

Wow. You got married because of a song? That's not good.
Oh. You're a crazy holy-roller. Never mind. I'm sure it's par for your course. lol

None of us of the younger generation will ever be able to truly see them life since the lead singer, Freddie Mercury, is dead. Sad huh.
