- In today's video, I get a chance to discuss the importance of having two subwoofers in your system and why REL is one of my favorite brands to use. How can I hook up 2 subs when my receiver only has one sub output jack ???
you can connect to the speaker out-put posts on the receiver
the audio signal goes to each sub but the receiver isn't powering them

Would it be beneficial to have more than 2 REL's?... I.E. Putting 2 or 3 of them in a line array on each side, what more would you get from a line array over just having a stereo pair?
I can partially answer this question, in my room there are 4 REL subs set-up, 2 T5x and 2 TZero subs, one in the rightside corner, the corner fartest away from the main listening position(this is the main sub and is setup as the one with the highest gain level)one next to my left speaker and the other two in random spots in the room that are not interfered by boundaries like a wall for example.
The result is a smooth bass response throughout the room, without to many standing waves that are irritating, you can still hear them with the right tracks but they are far less annoying. And the really mad thing is that those 4 small subs together reach into the twenties in this room!
It is a mess with cables though, but it works. Every sub is hooked up with a high level connection, in stereo! The T5x's directly wired to the speakerbinding-posts on the front mains and the TZero's wired to the left and right binding-posts on the amplifier. It works wonderfully altough REL doesn't recommended this kinda setup, but it works fine for now.
I'm thinking about upgrading in the near future though, probably ditch the TZero's and buy a larger piece like the S510 to run alongside the T5x's.

They stick to what they are good at. Making great subs!
The second best thing about playing my stereo Rels in my small 13 x 11.5 living room apartment. Whenever I walk to the bathroom the mids and highs me fade but the lows always stick with me 😊
