Really good for being a newer golfer. He looks pretty tense throughout the entire swing motion. If he can swing more freely and less stiff he’ll end up being pretty solid
Rotation through impact, forward shaft lean, compressing the ball with iron shots are my biggest concern right now. "Chicken wing" as a consequence of other factors. However, I still shoot in the mid 80's.
Nobody ever replies to me so here goes, I followed andys tips to straighten my slice holding it in my fingers instead of my palm, I hit driver5 times all bullet straight my longest was about 265 yards, I just wanted to say you've made and old man very very happy thank you so much, onto your chipping tips now Thank you
Thanks for another great video guys. I have started working with a coach, ge has helped me s great deal. My discouragement is active hands!!! I just can't seem to stop my right hand/arm quiet? He has a couple of drills - that help when I do the drill. However, when I got to a swing - I'll flip the club, or pull/push the whatever club I'm using. Except my wedges? How do I keep the trial arm quiet? I'm a right handed swing.
I need to work on shifting weight on my downswing with my irons. I worked all winter on improving my driver swing, but now I have a tendency to hang back when adding speed with my irons, causing a lot of fat shots.
I've had over the top issues before. And I can imagine what "pushing the shoulder in front" may look like. If I could give a tip would be (if you're right handed) thinking when you're coming down with the club, you're "turning a steering wheel" the right. There's probably 20 other tweaks you may have to do, but that's a start I guess lol
Alight fellas, let's start planning your first ever Andy and Piers International Golf Clinic! I'm ready to spend a week at Me and My Golf Training Camp and I'm sure that all 836K of your followers are ready too! :-)
My biggest issue is having too many swing thoughts. I practice swing before a shot and its pure, then i step to the ball and, sometimes, it's like I am doing it for the first time. I came back to the game 2 years ago after a 14 year hiatus, and I shoot mid to high 80s (14-16 hcp) , so I get it right a good smount of the time, but leave a good 10 strokes on the course with mishits during a round. I have watched so many videos and read so many tips that i have too many checkpoints/thoughts
Have you tried visualization techniques where the only you think about is either the shot shape or window of which you want to hit it through. Study how f1 drivers use it, would probably apply better for you based on what im hearing
Dude I’m the same way.. I’m 14-16 handi but I stopped for like 4 years and just started up again and I’m coming way over the top losing distance and fading.. it’s so frustrating I think way too much and have too many swing thoughts I feel at this point but what’s really annoying is my practice swing is perfect and I’ve recorded myself to know that and when I step up to the ball the swing is totally different.. 😢
@@taronpeacock7114 I would say his muscular body also. It just looks odd. That being said, my swing looks like shit also, and my lack of flexibility as I get older only exacerbates it, so I am not saying he should have a perfect, Fred Couples looking swing.

Tried it the weekend and it worked a treat
I always learn a lot from your videos. Monty would love the high hands from Reis!
Mute the microphone for the sniffles.

brilliant tips guys.. outstanding again
My one area of struggle seems to be consistent contact on irons and consistent distance with them. THanks!
Well done guys great work 👍 👏
Do you have tips on getting my wife to agree that I can play a round of golf?
Try this. Dont ask lol just go man. Be free. Divorce for playing golf ain’t enough in court!
Quality content again chaps, these live lessons are the best thing on TH-cam 👍👍👍
Thanks Mark. Glad you enjoy them! Hope you’ve had a great weekend 👍🏻
The live lessons are brilliant, especially people who suffer with slices with the driver.
Always good stuff
Great work! 🤙🏻
Thanks, good tip. Would practice it before next game :)

Brilliant Arthur! And apologies for struggling to get back to you up until now, keep up the good work🙌
Which video was this? I feel like to fix my slice, it needs to start from holding the club properly. Thanks in advance if you can help me out!
@@joshbean3096 ok bud it was me and my golf best drivér lesson , where andy shows the proper grip and full turn it works for me good luck Pal
Yes on the live lessons, great work by R.
Tips for Andy and Piers wear the same garments and accessories to a 💯 level 🤣🤣
Thanks Scott. Glad you enjoyed the lesson. Gotta get the “clobber” looking good😉
He made that look easy!
Thanks for another great video guys.

Thanks I struggle with consistency. I lose my swing mid round all the time and in fact have snapped a driver and 3 wood hitting in the hozle
Bring tissues with you next time as well xD
Congrats Reiss. Great progress.
Cheers Stu! Hope you’ve had a good one!
Great video

I come over the top a lot due to my trail shoulder pushing out in front of me. Any tips to stop that? Thanks so much for the videos!

Allergies kill me too Reis.
From my "Amateur" experience, It's all about the"wrist hinge" at the top of the swing when going "over the top"
Driver and 3 wood. Hooking BOTH off the tee
Appreciated vid
Needs extension through impact--left arm bending significantly. Good progress
Great lesson. Edit out the sniffing!
I need that lesson can not hit the driver at all

Reese my boy, just blow the snot rocket lol they will edit it out
Can't work out if he's got a cold or a coke abit
Legs are very wide in the stance, which inhibits forward rotation ?
Pull/hook on driver :/ would be nice to hear some tips
Check the grip fist and then the face in the back swing. Most issues with the hook are there.
struggling fixing my early extension. which cause my shots to be toe, thin, topping and open club face.
Fix the face first. Often an Early Extension is a compensation for something else.
But do we want the left arm less high… (Scottie scheffler #1)… ?
Not really sure how those two things stop an over the top golf swing?
Old mate snorted half a bag of Charlie before his one....
why don't u do a video what stops you doing a low hook with. a driver instead
Jesus get the man a tissue
He looks so stiff throughout his swing. I don't know what causes this, but it almost looks painful.
I would say flexibility, and he looks like he goes to the gym a bit. Too much upper body tension.

swings liek a robot lol🤣
This guy has a few very simple problems and you didn't address a single one of them.
Is he possibly too muscle bound around his chest for that big golf swing? seems like he can't turn with out moving his head drastically
Possibly, no wonder why I thought his swing looked weird
Get that kid a tissue!
Give the guy a fuckin tissue
This dude needs to relax and not be so stiff.
