- In our exclusive clip featuring Arabian Prince, the former NWA member recalls his meeting with Tomica Wright over royalty disputes, and one of the last times he saw Eazy-E before the rap star died of AIDs. "I went to Yella's birthday party and I remember seeing Eazy right before he went into the hospital. He looked fine to me," Arabian Prince remembers with a somewhat quizzical look. "It seemed weird to me."
When asked about Eazy's widow, Tomica, Arabian Prince brought up a conference they had once she took over Ruthless Records. The end result was a lawsuit that carried on for years after him and other artists on the Ruthless roster - including J.J. Fad - stopped receiving royalty checks. And according to him, "it's still not right." "Just be fair to people," he expressed to DJ Vlad in regards to Tomica. "If you weren't there - yeah I know you own the company now, but you weren't there - take care of the people that keep you paid. That's all you gotta do. There's enough money out there for everybody."

The Aids strain is constantly changing and morphing in people who have it. A person's immune system handles it differently. I've seen people that look healthy drop dead and I've seen people waste away from this disease. I'm sorry Easy E passed away. He brought awareness, and educated people to the way things are for people of color. Thank you for that and thank you to NWA for making people take a look at the world and how human beings are being treated. RIP

He’s a legend. Super cool and standup guy. I met him in Nashville TN during a NWA concert in the 1988. He’s still cashing royalty checks from supersonic.
A lot of people died quickly in those days. People were dropping like flies. A lot of people never even knew; they just died before the results even came back. Also the drugs they had back then were not good. Some people who waited it out for better drugs are still alive today.

Bone thugs were on radio and I'm pretty sure in some major magazines on this in the late 90's - specifically Krayzie Bone and Wish. Layzie ended on the Jamie Foxx radio show about it - which Jamie spent the show ridiculing him as the privileges ones in the media always do with anyone who comes out against the official media story.
Being a teenager who talked about this and with other (And we are in EASTERN CANADA) from like 98 and on I can assure you that Suge coming out with that was not a kick-starter for people like Eazy's kids, Bone thugs, BG Knocc Out, etc. It was only a kick starter for the modern internet media crowd. This also instigated the whole 'Suge did it' as opposed to 'Jerry's doctor' theory. Let's not forget the whole Bush incident...which has it's own ideas.
