Same he is in the form of his career, his heel turn has elevated him in such a way that Cuna should of been years ago. It s what it is , just hope Vince doesn't turn him freakin' face again. I want to see live crowds reactions for Roman as a heel, see if he still gets booed or cheered, as we as wrestling fans can be so fickle at times, just like back when he was face it was the cool thing to boo him , fans thought. He has a great look, has improved his in Ring Ability and his mic Skills are much better.

I'll fully admit that I wasn't super into baby face Roman. Since he started his heel turn, he has done nothing but keep me hooked on Friday nights. Amazing stuff.
i remember seeing an interview the rock had where he said he was gettin booed as a face and vince asked him if he wanted to just go ahead and shove the character down their throats or go heel cause they wanna boo him anyway. and it just makes me feel like they should have made him heel so much more long ago, cause a lot of guys that got to the top had bland face runs then career boosting heel runs.
His run is a breath of fresh air. And he’s been killing it.

When I first saw Roman, I said to myself he's gonna be a huge superstar out of anyone in the Shield. He has the gladiator look, the talent, he's tough and I'm glad he's getting acknowledged. Always been a fan and never understood why he was hated, he's a good guy and can't wait to see what he has in store for the future
It's obvious why he was hated. Vince was just making him a cheesy Cena 2.0 he's on record saying he always wanted to be a heel not a face and told Vince he wouldn't come back after his leukemia if he couldn't be a heel. This version of Roman is what we should of got years ago after he beat Taker. Better late than never.
Ambrose imo turned out to play the heel better over on aew. His match last week got the crowd fired up was best I have seen in awhile. Reigns basically always played the bad guy outside of the shield. Ambrose played both. Outside the shield. I like reigns and riddle now.paul heyman i met one time at the JFK airport when I was going to summerslam. Told him where I was coming from he said long way just to watch wrestling. Like please leave me alone sir. I was shocked to see him. We were the only two at the gate.
I Totally Agree! The first time I saw the Shield, I loved the introduction of Shield, each member, how they work to- gether, etc I only saw them as I was at a friend's place helping him get 2 hip replacements, and he was a WWE fan. stopped watching them for years. So I was just following along as my friend watched twice a week.
It was just the timing, of the Shield, and knew instantly who was the standout of the trio! I watched him get booed, and it hurt me, and just hoped, one day they would regret that booing. I sent a couple comments to Roman, and he read them. I was shocked when I got to speak over the phone with him, and was supportive of him, and said, wait, one day it will, happen! He was a soft spoken, polite, humble man, who was sharing some excitement over going from basically NXT to the gig show as WWE. I encouraged him as part of Shield, and as a future Superstar Wrestler on WWE.
He was excited at his prospects, and hoped he was over with the crowd.. He was a really nice man, genuinely. I told him I lived in Canada and he shared his football experience here, but not my province, B.C. and then his personal life, expecting his daughter, and how she was with him a few times on WWE, including his great match early on for the title against Brock, which he was taking lots of bumps, but I felt he had a chance. I was cheering for him, all the while in the match. Then, I got that chill down my spine, and Saw Seth Rollins run down the ramp. I was hoping he would go after Brock for the title, but then, he knew more about how Roman worked in ring, and was afraid of Bro k, I'm sure, so while I hated his choice, it was the logical choice. So Seth stole the belt. But I think Roman felt hurt, but it is basic, when there is a title involved, it is everyone for themselves, and from there there were three musketeers, no more. So, I have been a Roman Reigns from the get go.....My statement has been; ROMAN REIGNS RULES!!
As Roman just stated his choice for an adequate challenge, he picked Drew, and I agree, having just seen a really hard hitting, gritty match against Drew McIntyre in 2021. They went back and forth and traded blows, holds,and they really entertained the crowd, and me.
It was one of the Best matches, Drew had a few inches on him for height, but rolled in and out of holds, blow for blow. It was exciting for the crowd, and a close match, it did not look like Drew was just going to put over Reigns. it could have gone either way, was the impression.
Part of me wishes he stays in full character even in interviews like this.

Great Interview, Roman is a class act and a star,a very likable person. Kudos to Peter Rosenberg on getting better with his interviewing skills. He’s not cutting off the guest or trying to make it about himself anymore. The interview had a great flow.

I say this. When you're the face of the company and you're a heel that says a lot. The last person to that was Ric Flair in the NWA. almost 40 years ago. You could probably say Stone Cold but he's more anti-hero than heel. Fans wouldn't let him be full-on. So major props to Roman.

Yeah he did wanted to turn heel. But it was hard for him to turn heel because people was already booing him. So he didn't see no reason why to turn heel when he was already being bood. But since there is no fans now it is easy to turn heel.

Now he's facing Edge , edge has a five match contract this year he's had 4 so I can't see Roman losing for a good while yet, if cena did win at summerslam making 17times champ , fans would go nuts but I don't think he will. I think he will put Roman over, my big hope is the rock comes back before mania in front of a live crowd putting Roman over, that would cement his place in wwe history. Man the pop for rocky would be unreal, just hope the old man doesn't turn Roman face for a long, long time.

Reigns definitely needed this heel turn. Always felt he worked better as a heel. When Shield were triple powerbombing everyone they were the best.

It's not like there's nobody in WWE with that kinda potential. It's just that nobody's performing at that level right now. The creative team is doing a shitty job with Drew McIntyre's character. At this pace, he'll go on a never ending face run, to end up getting booed, like Roman Reigns of the past. A heel turn would be perfect for him at this point.
And Lashley is doing great. But breaking up the Hurt Business was a shitty move. Now, he's just dominating in the WWE Championship picture. He's not controlling the whole show. That's where he's different from Roman. Getting him to run the whole damn show would be a great game changer for RAW as a whole.
Then there's Keith Lee, with tremendous potential, weak character development.
Baron Corbin is being used as the Goliath for every other David that shows up on the show. He's dominant, he's got the skills. He could do great with a character change. Not a face turn ( that'd be gruesome), but a much more serious heel character.
And WWE have to stop bringing in people like Goldberg. No one wants to see him go for the titles. Returning once in a while, giving a push to superstars who need that push, entertaining the fans, getting the ratings up. That's what he needs to do. Not come in and yell "I'm next".
The kid in me still wishes wrestling was still good enough to be worth watching but Roman is a hell of a talent; kudos to him.
Smackdown is great! And NXT! But raw sheesh….

Roman is must see TV at this point. As long as he has been in the WWE he was money, the Tribal Cheif is something special.
The best thing about the Thunderdome is you don’t have the fans cheering the heels and booing the faces. It kind of takes you out of the story when that happens at least for me.
They dont use the crowds audio I've been on the thunderdome. The fans dont sink up with the audio live.

Unfortunately, Roman said it. CONTENT IS KING. Not QUALITY. The new sports entertainment performers are not able to develop the same instinct the industry provided in prior generations.
It reminds me a lot of seeing school kids, I used to be a tutor, They work really hard to get to the top and then they slack. WWE is very much in the same boat. Back from the 80s during the territory days, to the late 90s and 2000s for the attitude era. WWE was trying to make a name as THE wrestling show. Then once they accomplished that, whichever year you wanna slap on it i personally say 2003 was the final brick on the foundation. Now they've laxed and from failing competitions or competitions that just couldn't quite hit that next level. TNA, ROH, NJPW, etc. WWE has grown arrogantly lazy in terms of coming out with the best quality content.
It's sad because they easily could. When they say they have the best talent the business has to offer, they aren't lying. AJ Styles, Ricochet, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Asuka, Liv Morgan, the list is endless. Yet they don't ever use it because they can afford it. Its just disappointing that WWE for whatever reason doesn't want to implement the same motivation as they did when they were trying to reach the top.

Drew's good. But in the recent weeks, his character's gone weak, with all those "history lessons" and stuff. With the kind of path that he's on right now, he's only gonna be the Roman Reigns of the past, the ultimate babyface. The creative team needs to work on his character. A heel turn wouldn't be bad. But for that to happen, we'll need some good face replacements for RAW.
