I still think you shouldn't have made it so short. The first time you take it on the street and get spotted, they'll take you off the road. The minimum wheelbase that they'll allow you now to build is 118 inches. 84 inches is way too short. That makes your weight over the back axle crazy light. There's a fair bit of weight that hangs out past the steering axle that takes weight off the back as well. If you try to hit the brakes now, the back end will want to skid or bounce. You'd have to have a lot of weight in the back and leave it there, to make it at all drive-able. Plus it's going to be hard to keep it in your lane on the highway because the steering will be real touchy now. It's going to look like you've been drinking.
@@just-incase I’d love to have you come drive it when I’m finished. I plan on scaling it so I can get 50 50 weight The box will be plenty of weight. I also plan on filling the rear bumper with cement. Have some faith man
@@WhiskeyDents Alright, I'll wait and see. They used to like cabovers because the front axle could support the weight of the engine and the cab no problem. That would free you up to take a full heavy cargo over your drive axles. It makes a lot of sense but it does get kind of crazy when you've got no load back there. This is why you don't see a lot of tractors like that anymore, only straight trucks like garbage trucks and what not.
It’s funny I’m already thinking of what I’m gonna do with that after I win it. But just out of curiosity, you may have mentioned this on another video. What motor is in there.
Cant wait to see it when its done. 15ft it may actually fit in a parking spot unlike my daily. She too long. And were actually looking to build one into a 6 door
@WhiskeyDents working on it. Transferred videos from 3 different cameras I used earlier as well as got started on next year's projects. Just got back yesterday n was dead ass tired to do much of anything other then get dry clothes n thaw out.
Just a thought not a fan of fuel tank and exhaust. Nothing better then a Beer Kegger fuel tank after you drink the beer up ! please do not pour it on the ground. Exhaust one large side pipe for roolin coal that way it will not get in the way of cowboy bunk. Hell Ya !!!! that's some real country boy SH@$ !!! Thank you for updates 😊
