Hi mate I’m in the middle of doing this exact job now and it’s done smoothly but when I do the key learning at the end it’s complete but showing no key 0 and not working can’t get the ignition on at all have you any advice or ideas for me please thank you
The locksmith that came to program my girlfriends 09 A5 proxsimity key failed. Said she needed a code from Audi. The dealership said it can only be done by them. Is this true?
Your key looks like the one in the video right? If so, she should be able to do exactly the same as you see in the video so the advice will be just show her this video and ask her if she has this tools. A5 from 09 to 14 uses this same programming
@@legacylocksmith7874 I have the same issue with my x431 for some reason cannot read immobilizer data from 2010 s4. Just to be clear, if I have one good key. Put in the ignition, put to on, lights on, hazards on, brake on. Wait for prompt to disconnect BCM2 then Reconnect bcm2 and then you get data? I feel like on my s4 i am forgetting something
@@legacylocksmith7874 internet is for sure good because it pulls codes for modules when i want security access for individual module. but I struggle to get immobilizer data. It just keeps loading

Is it also possible to add a key withtout akl process?
Sure. If you can do AKL you can most likely do adding a key. Just put the car on and read data. No need to take bcm out

I have the autel mk808 can I program keys with that pal? It’s a 2009 a4 I has the second key (genuine) from when I got the car but doesn’t work

If there is all key lost how do you know the frequency of the key what you have to program? There are 3 different frequencies
In the USA we have only one option. Maybe check with dealer in your area

A5 from 09 to 14 uses this same programming
2014 and up you need sync data. So u shud change your video title
Till June 2014 this method will work from my experience after that you are totally right

Maybe Internet connection? If you put the car on position, it should be very easy specially on a 2010.
