As someone who plays Genshin and HSR I have *no* clue what these people are talking about. Not only the characters are very unique, the animations in here are even more fluid. However, if they mean the "writing in a notebook", "stretching" and "spinning a lance", literally all games have these animations, like, there's only so many ways someone can write something or spin a weapon, lol. Pretty sure the people talking about 'copy this copy that' just want to start a stupid war

Well i mean... The game is like asking for comparison and the same players are comparing the game to GI because they are interested in it. It does get annoying but I think it's healthy for the game. It would be better if it doesn't just copy genshin though, I don't want the same experience twice, GI is so special because there is nothing quite like it

Animations still seem a little unpolished for some of them. Not quite at the quality of PGR's animations yet, but it's getting there. Must be a WIP. Headed in a very good direction tho. 👍
well it's also different engines so some animations might not be easy to replicate. PGR is in Unity and Wuthering Waves is in Unreal Engine so it works differently

Looks good so far. But i hope they'd learn from Genshin's mistakes. Having more variety with playable character models is one of them. Genshin only has 5 for its playable character models just reskinned: The Thin Man The Skinny Twink The Slender Lady The Petite Toddlerette And The Adolescent Girl (who almost always has twin ponytails or long hair that splits in 2) It's funny cause someone commented before that Venti was "thiqq" 😂 He's my fave...but no. He really isn't what he said he was. Also, I hope they have more unique "mundane" animations like when they're sitting for example. Everyone sits the same way. It's jarring during cutscenes when the atmosphere is lively, somber or in deep tension but everyone sits so robotically.
I mean, in PGR Kuro only made 1 Shota and thats Chang Yu Majority of the roster are either someone like Lee, Watanabe, or Noctis who is still beefier than Ito

0:34 - This character is similar to "Ka Mina" from Genshin Impact. They look exactly the same, only “Ka Ming” wields a two-handed sword and Pyro with the Eye of God.
If you mean "Gaming" then it's because it's a traditional Chinese dance performance and clothes. There's a LOT of characters in other games that are similar to this, it's very common in Chinese games. Unless you mean that Genshin invented the dance, as some other dimwits in the comments here thought lol.
Ling Yang is actually a redesign of Awu from CBT1 way back in April 2023. Awu was a full-fledged furry, but he still fought using the lion dance. And that was last year, way before Ga Ming was even announced.

i feel like their character designs lack colors - and are fairly monochromatic (usually consisting one main color and some shades of that color with white/black/gray) maybe its a vibe thing or something thats madee on purpose - but it reminds me of the same problem zzz has with their designs

and to those commenting "they copied this and that from genshin and hsr" i am sorry but ........ as someone who does play genshin, i don't think it's so much of a bad thing for one game to take a simple concept from another because honestly? nothing is *entirely* original, and hoyo isn't the first company to invent things like idle character animations and voicelines for their in-game cast of characters. i believe kuro is genuinely cooking with this so let them cook!! their characters look super cool and pretty and the animations of each character have a wonderful touch that makes them what they are so please no more they copied this from hoyo's hit game jenshin impact (the jenshin was intended)

They also made Punishing: Gray Raven (PGR). I'm still waiting for the global release of WuWa.

They look exactly the same, only “Ka Ming” wields a two-handed sword and Pyro with the Eye of God.
If you mean "Gaming" then it's because it's a traditional Chinese dance performance and clothes.
There's a LOT of characters in other games that are similar to this, it's very common in Chinese games.
Unless you mean that Genshin invented the dance, as some other dimwits in the comments here thought lol.
Ling Yang is actually a redesign of Awu from CBT1 way back in April 2023. Awu was a full-fledged furry, but he still fought using the lion dance. And that was last year, way before Ga Ming was even announced.

i feel like their character designs lack colors - and are fairly monochromatic (usually consisting one main color and some shades of that color with white/black/gray) maybe its a vibe thing or something thats madee on purpose - but it reminds me of the same problem zzz has with their designs

Idk what this community has a problem with, because things like interaction with their perspective object, weapon.. even hair..or eating food.. is basic animation.
