They actually can and give them a different set of weapons. But these leaks are all speculation for now. But if you know Kuro you would know they don’t like making the char use the same weapon all elements. They rather spice some thing up and make it unique for each.

For the love of god, as an MC enjoyer, Kuro please make every single MC elements at least a viable option in the meta. I still can't believe how the fk hoyo fkd up with hydro mc so bad, when it is literally the best element in the game .
They fxcked up hydro mc because it would make future sales for other hydro characters lower. If you think about it, why would you release an extremely good character for free when you can give them a bad one so players can keep spending money on new characters. It is all about marketing and sales for Mihoyo. This is how greedy Mihoyo is. We should definitely boycott them until they start being fair
your wish has been granted, the spectro mc is a good all around unit and healer and the havoc mc is a very good DPS, one of the best at the moment (v1.0)

As a MHY mfer, I hope this is more in line w/ HSR's way of handling additional elements vs Genshin. A new moveset/maybe weapon (probably less likely since this has a Genshin framework vs HSR) + new skills/ult and a bombastic story-heavy unlock > going to a zone and attuning to a statue + no one really acknowledging it.
no one's gonna use mc that much in genshin even if they implement switch element + it might be reserved for snezhnaya where we can finally switch freely
