Nice Refleks... big fans of those for the dry heat! Monsun is a lovely boat! Def considering it for my next boat (have an Albin Vega now).

I was one hair string from buying a Vega, many years ago. Very much inspired by Jarle Andhoy and his first antarctic ekspedition.

Can this heater be used underway in rough condition

My guess is yes. According to Refleks Stoves you have to be aware of constant healing, which is not happening i huge waves :-) It is built mainly for fishing wessels.

Hello! Just found your channel. How happy are you with the Refleks stove? I am considering installing a Glembring diesel stove similar to Refleks, on my OE36 sailboat that I am restoring now. Any problems with sooting, flaming out, or something else?

OE36 another beautiful design from Olle Enderlein. I love the simplicity of the pot-stove. Very happy with mine. One of the downsize compared to my webasto is that there no botton to turn it on - You have to preheat it (shown in another video). And it takes up space in the cabin. Avoid flaming out by using the H-chimney + 2 m of total lenght chimney (insulated above deck). Prevent sooting by using clean oil. I have really good experiense with Shell GTL diesel (Gas To Liquid), Really clean burning and I can have i running at a very low power, with 1 L consumption for 20 hr.

      @@SailingBlueBird Thsnks,
      Thos is quite enough.
If compare Monsun31 with Ballad - who is faster under sails?
If not secret why you decide after Ballad buy Monsun31 not other model?

@@janisspalvins677 i wanted a boat of higher quality and more comftorbly. The monsun does not point as high to windward, but otherwise faster totally on a cruise. Thats my opinion.
Only downgrade is handling in a marina.

Great video! Considering to upgrade to a monsun.
Why is it more difficult to handle in the marina than the Ballad?
      How tall are you?
      Tak from Østerbro…
