Thank goodness I’ve found this as the X-T30 has been driving me nuts!!
I got an xt30 today and I watched this instead of reading the manual. After the latest firmware you can remap the q button btw so I remapped it for backbutton focus. The placement of the q button is now a big advantage actually :D

I've been wondering for a couple of weeks how to take selfies and nail the focus. Now I know to set it to continuous autofocus, then go to interval timer shooting and tell it to take as many pics as you want. Lots of great stuff in this video, thanks.
I just purchased a new X-T30 II, so, this will help get me up to speed, plus, I own the X-T1, X-T2 and X-H1. I will, however, watch this training tutorial because the X-T30 and X-T30 II are very similar. Like Michael, I highly recommend Tony Northrup's Training Material and I purchased it when I first got into photography decades ago.

I’ve had a lot of cameras from full frame to crop and lots of mirrorless too. Fuji is one of my personal favorites. Everything is just done right. Best camera design!
I bought my first mirrorless after years of Canon Rebel series and I was SO FRUSTRATED with how different all the settings felt. Finally found this guide and I've had soooo many aha moments as a result. I've gone through the video twice now! Buying the full guide next, this stuff doesn't mess around. Great quality!
You saved me from so much frustration! Honestly couldn't work out why I was getting better images with my xt100 than with this camera. It all boiled down to finding similar settings and more, because dials are different and options overwhelming! Subscribed, your content is great ❤️
Man, I just picked up a X-T30. I studied photography for about a year and this was when analog was still the standard ( some 20 years ago) Holding this thing in my had I was competely lost with all the settings they have today. Really helpfull video, verry much appreciated. Awesome vid, loved it and keep them coming!

This is really excellent. I like too how you really work well alongside the manual, as you aren't being a cleverclogs and using divergent terminology etc. So, as I read along with the manual, I finding your videos a great reminder/clarifier. Perhaps even more than that, it's just useful to hear about any small recommendations you have for settings etc - as I've never bought a camera this expensive/technical before. I'm getting the hang of it though. Love messing with depth of field etc. Thank you.

i bought the Camera 1 Year ago, but only now i came to understand it in a reasonable way. thank you for this very carefull instruction. Some things that anoyed me for a long time (eg. my nose triggering the touchscreen) while on evf i would have never got straight. as i normaly try to figure out without reading bad manuals. I've just purchased an xt30ii and was struggling to get to grips with the way the camera works as I've used Nikon and Panasonic in the past. This video has really helped me. I think I'll be purchasing the crash course.

Great video. I just got the XT30II and first shots vey impressive . I have 10-24mm / 16-80 and 100-400mm All great lens but my favorite is the 100-400 I almost can do macro work and very very sharp.

I don't own an X-T30, nor will I probably buy one. I do, however, own an X-Pro2, X-T2 and X-T3.
