Thank you I bought my xt30 a year ago and took it on a family trip to San Diego, I shoot mainly in Auto mode because I had no experience in photography... I got into film 6 months ago and finally decided to set up my fuji xt30, now I understand a little more and with this set up I thing a can make better pictures now. (I also purchased a new 23mm f2 prime lens) thanks again for your help!
I have the X-T20. It is a cheap, if somewhat delicate, great little camera. I also have an X-T2 and X100T. I also have a Nikon D810, which mostly collects dust, but I still use it in certain situations.
Helpful video. For a serious amateur (85% photos, 15% video) would you prefer the xt30 ii or xs10? I'm also considering the xpro2. (Dont like LCD on xpro3)
That stuff because those cameras are so different. This is going to sound trivial but the size of your hands would be a big factor for me. The x pro 2 fits so much better in your hand than the XT30. On the other hand, if you want something it's really small and compact then.... 🙂
Sir honestly, mine one stuck to F22 and I am not able to change.. and in starting of your video you have shown Black and white photo.. how to click that in x T30

Why my screen is showing white like it can see light but I can’t see objects idk if the lens is covered I took off the part that covers the lens help I’m a begginer
I’m not seeing why this camera couldn’t be a main camera shooting professionally..You need IBIS to shoot professionally? You need weather sealing to shoot professionally? Duel card slots? It must just be me because I don’t feel that I need any of that stuff to shoot. You also mention all the settings and how Fuji knows what an image looks like so these settings are left alone..isn’t Fuji KNOWN for film simulations? Does Fuji offer Cinestill 800T? Portra 400? That’s the purpose of those settings…so that people can mimick their favorite film stocks.
You understand that this video is my opinion as a pro, not the ten commandments. If you want to shoot professionally without weather sealing, IBIS and backups go ahead. If you unpack a camera and immediately start customizing the setting to mimic a film stock, great. There's no wrong answer here. This is just what I do, you do you. :)
@@BoorayPerry Comment wasn’t directed towards you. I just see a lot of people talk as if this camera isn’t capable of being used professionally because it lacks things like dual skits, IBIS, etc
@@BoorayPerry On some cameras you can set the focus point to stop moving at the edge of the screen, when you are moving the focus point from left to right or top to bottom. On the x-t30, when you try this the focus point wraps around to the other side of the screen. I could not find out to to prevent the wrap around. Nikons have this setting (on or off) in the menu.
@@BoorayPerry I could not find it in the operations/owners manual. so I thought maybe someone else knows the answer. That is why I asked the question. I am guessing that it can not be turned off. I have watched three videos on the X-t30 and no-one has addressed the subject. Thanks for your response.
But I'm sure you're going to switch to T-S10 sooner or later as soon as the price point of X-S10 goes down. I just sold my X-T30 on switching to X-S10. It's an entirely different photography (and videography) experience. The benefit you would get from IBIS is tremendous, and I'm sure you will miss it after you switch from X-T4 to X-T30 momentarily. I also switched to X-S10 because I can use it as a webcam. Fuji does not support X-T30 with their webcam software for PC and Mac. BTW I carry X-100V with me all of the time for street photography.
I don't doubt anything that you are saying but you have to remember that my goal is to never ever actually use the x-t30. I kept my last backup camera in my bag for 10 years and used it once and even then it was only for about five minutes
Excellent video! This helped this new to Fujifilm X-T30ii user soooo much!!! Thank you.

Found the video very helpful! Thank you....
You mentioned a video on ISO settings with a link but I don’t believe a link appeared. Can you post one please? Many thanks! (Great videos!!!)

I just purchased the t30ii with a kit lens, but it doesn’t give me the option to turn grain effect on and off… help?
I don't have mine anymore but maybe they removed it from the new version?

what about aperture setting?
Aperture is variable. You change it all the time.

"Shoot without lens" should be "ON" - to allow third party lenses function on the camera
