    How can there be any thumbs down for this video? Michael knows this camera backwards and forwards. He created an in depth tutorial for free. What more can anyone want?

      alan connelly A two hour “blatant sales pitch”? Seriously? I found this walkthrough to be extremely helpful. I still refer to the manual, but I have a much better understanding of the functions through this VERY thorough tutorial. BTW, His tutorials are not “big bucks”, but he does charge for them. Should he not be able to make a living and feed his family??

    • @airgliderz
      @airgliderz 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@toddcoble1485 clearly this is a sales pitch to buy his next video. I read the manual, this video compliments the manual but us it's main intent is a sales pitch to but the next videos. I never said this video is not helpful, it is in that it compliments the cameras manual, helpful in that it explains what t is in the manual but with video. Nothing wrong with that, but clearly the real intent is to get you to buy his next video.

    Some have said here that all you have to do is read the XT-3 manual to get the same information you, Mike, have presented here. (And I do read manuals!) But I learn best by seeing and doing. This video is absolutely fantastic and I thank you for the putting in such great effort to show us how the camera functions work. I am coming from a Pentax and have been a photographer for a long time. But this camera has a dizzying number of features and you helped me identify shortcuts that I might never have utilized. I've watched a couple of video tutorials for Xt-3 and this one is hands down the best. The Tony Northrup one is good too. But I personally prefer this video. He doesn't just teach you where the buttons are and what they do, he tells you what you should make a habit of doing to begin to quickly feel at ease using this camera in a practical way. I feel like it is perfect for anyone from a total beginner to an intermediate camera user, and I can imagine that it is good to watch for a professional who is however new to the Xt-3. Great video!
    I will definitely look into purchasing his courses based upon how good this free one is.

    Great video, one thing to add, I have used back button focus on Nikon cameras I had in the past and it was easy with my big hands due to the camera size and button locations, with the Fujis I find it very awkward(smaller camera, small buttons) so I put back button focus on the front FN button and use my middle finger to focus,I find this better by far than the back buttons on my XT2 and XT3.

    Truly got an giving soul. My dad discovered Fuji for me when I was looking at canon/Sony/Nikon blah blah & wow even though it’s been APSC...it’s helped my photography better than any other camera could have at that time & now the xt3 really has come into its own. I just hope they keep up the award winning cameras & service & don’t stop practicing being cool af.
    Was curious about shutter type options (electronic/front curtain/etc) were one of the main confusing things so hopefully this covers it. But even if not, I’m really impressed with this video. If you’re ever in Toronto always have a supporter around

I just want to buy him a beer (or protein shake). By far the most educational online video I've seen. Waooo excellent tutorial, thank you, thank you very much for sharing, I recently purchased a fuji xt3, with the 18-55 kit lens ... and I am learning again, it has cost me a bit to interact with the new camera, I am especially concerned about the sharpness I still can't do it with the kit lens ... I'm emigrating from Nikon D750 and it really hasn't been easy at all to change equipment, I love the new tools, the versatility, the weight, the compactness, the easy to carry and in. It is special to go unnoticed with the new equipment, among the many things that I love about this equipment is how easy it is to work with the different menu options, and its interrelation with the rear screen, here I have taken many tips, to configure, for Of course you have to put them into practice ... Thank God there is TH-cam and excellent tutorial videos like yours, again grateful, I also thank the translation services since otherwise I would still be lost with graduation and cont role of the xt3 .... Receive a fraternal hug from Venezuela ....

    thanks Michael, this is everything I needed to know about my XT3, no photography channel comes close to your in-depth step by step, easy to understand approach, and your tutorial is free! If you ever visit Victoria on Vancouver Island, BC I'll buy you lunch and show you around, beautiful spot I live in...

    Omg thank you so much. I just upgraded from a Canon rebel t6i and was very lost with this amazing product. Thank you for taking the time and effort to make a great video.
    And thank you for the opening "don't be frustrated" I'm so stressed with trying to learn a new camera and editing software, I felt like giving up, I really needed to hear that.

    Super good tutorial has looked forward to your tutorials. I have had the X-T3 late last Friday and have played a bit with it but will try more when my cold is over. I went from the Nikon D750 to an incredibly good camera for photography but saw greater potential in X-T3 for video, although here in Sweden 4k is not so popular yet most 1080p in 60fps. It's fun to be able to record 4k 30 and 60. My first camera was the Canon D100 which is also an APS-C. Today for me APS-C and full-format for my kind of photography does not play such a big part. Thank you for your good tutorials and looking forward to more. have a nice weekend // Gabriel Martinez

      Thank you Gabriel. So many options on the XT3 for video! One point and Ill talk more about this on the Crash Course, I almost always still shoot 4k when exporting to 1080 just for the reframing and zooming in / out options. There are some more tests to be done, but it looks like the XT3 is a winner for video

    We just got the xt3 and found this video based on Omar Gonzalez's recommendation. It's been so useful for us coming from Sony to the Fujifilm family

    Looooved this video! Just Got my own Fujifilm X-T3 and this video is part of the reason. I actually did a video with my first impression of the camera, and I gotta day, I was surprised. I’ve used canon my whole photography life, but it’s always felt like the shoe didn’t quite fit right with me. The style and feeling of canon just wasn’t my cup of tea. Now the shoe finally fits and I feel more motivated than ever, with my Fuji xt3.
