    • Seerah - Biography of ...
In this video, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi covers the famous family incident of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), where the prophet abstained from his wives for a whole month and the residents of Makkah were afraid that he may have divorced all his wives.
Benefits derived from this incident include:
-Customs and gender roles vary from society to society. Islam doesn't dictate particular gender roles as long as overall guidelines of Shari'a are met. Behavior and speech of woman of different lands may be different. Sharia allows for a halal spectrum.
-Humanity of wives of prophet. If Allah had willed, the Prophet (PBUH) would have had a fairy tale marriage. These incidents show even the prophet had to deal with marital issues, such that we would learn how to cope with our own martial issues.
-The prophet (PBUH) was the perfect role model in the treatment of women: In a society which accepted physically disciplining the wife, our prophet as never lifted his hands up against any woman or servant
-News of marital problem spread to the whole city, and Allah revealed verses. Shows to have a marital problem is not embarrassing, nor taboo
    - The good marriage is not the one that doesn't have any problems, but rather, the problems are trivial compared to the positives.
-One of the best ways to settle problems is to keep away for a little while to cool off. However, the woman should never be asked to leave, the man should leave (if needed and appropriate)
-The in-laws can and should get involved as needed, only if they do so wisely.
-The husband has the right to give the option to his wife for divorce. (Ikhtiar)
-Simplicity of the lifestyle of the Prophet (PBUH), a sign that he is a prophet. All his wives were given the option to live a simple life.
-The status of the Mothers of the Believers is shown, as they chose to live simple lives over luxury and wealth.
A Mercy to Mankind - A detailed analysis (Seerah) of the life of Prophet Muhammad - from the original sources
Join Dr. Shaykh Yasir Qadhi as he gives one of the most detailed analysis of the life and biography of the Prophet (S) Muhammad in the English language from the original sources and clarifies any misconceptions.

@@sayidahummi6841 with hafsa radhiyallahuanha once, but allah made rasulullah take her back
Then in a strange incident where a woman(forgot her name) on the wedding night suddenly rejected the prophet before they consumated the marriage

@@greencoolmoss i've read an article, said that prophet divorced his 3 wives. But, the article doesn't put any dalil from shahih hadiths, so i can't trust the statement on that.
