I also think a lot of the books I read really blend genres. And I'm interested to hear what you think of The Blue Castle when you do reread it. I went into it with almost no knowledge or expectation and it's a book I completely fell in love with and started reading again immediately.
Hi, I recently found you and am enjoying your videos. I am so sorry about your husband. You are so young for that. God bless you. I agree with you about The Blue Castle. I enjoyed it okay, but I have the overall impression that it was just rather strange. I can’t really say why. I let my sister read it and I think she felt the same. Just a strange atmosphere about it. I enjoyed Rebecca too but read it so long ago that I don’t remember any language. I am enjoying classics too. I recently read David Copperfield and just loved it. Now I’m reading The Heir of Redclyffe by Mary Yonge. 😊
Have you read Elizabeth Elliot’s book Suffering is Never For Nothing? She talks about losing Jim in that one, and suffering in general. I’m currently reading it now and it’s the best I’ve read on the subject!
Never Fall Again sounds good!!! Adding to my tbr!!
Becoming Elisabeth Elliot was such a great book!!! Loved it!!
I need to read that one, I don't know much about her!
It is! I’m looking forward to reading the second one.

I think maybe I have a hard time defining genres lol.
I look forward to rereading it and seeing my thoughts then.
Yes, Little Women!
