Never let your mates borrow your lawn mower or girlfriend. They always come back f##ked
Hahaha no comment 😂😬
That has to be one of the most beautiful rye grass lawns I've seen in a while..
Agreed, I'm (nowhere near as green) with envy!
I was very happy for Ben he did a great job on his first ever Rye oversow
Thanks Heaps
😂😂 well done on breaking his machine.. Looks a great lawn though. Must be Sad to let her go😢
Hahah I know Merrick I couldn't believe it.. Just my luck! Poor Ben really wanted to keep it but like over in ZA it's just too hot here to have rye 24/7 365. The water use would be reckless
Hey Brenton, could you please link me to the name of your respirator for spraying? Or just the name, thankyou
Hi mate I just a 3M half face mask with these organic vapour cartridges www.bunnings.com.au/3m-organic-vapour-acid-gas-multi-purpose-cartridge_p0106617
Rye grass looked 2nd level congratulation Ben.
Not bad is it
Wow Ben, that is absolutely amazing. Well DONE!!!!
Definitely a round of applause I reckon
How may square meters was this lawn
about 70 i think
Thanks for the video Brenton. Looking forward to seeing updates on the transition back to a couch lawn. Great job Ben.
No problem Pete, I'll be back with an update in a few weeks
Great commitment from Ben!
Top Coaching work Brenton🏆
Thanks Woodzy, haha if we lived in your part of the world we would never need rye 😂
I'd be giving the couch the arse and keeping the rye. That was spectacular.
Yeah Ben did ask if it was possible but it would be so ,much work and the water usage would be reckless unfortunately in his climate
The colour of that rye is crazy! One of the darkest lawns i've ever seen!
Its has an amazing colour about it hey 😎
Great grass. I sense some reluctance from Ben to let you have a go on the Mowmaster. Vindicated I think when up started wrecking it!
I know right, first go and I wrecked haha
That rye looks spectacular. Super lush and dark
Really good effort I say, Ben most certainly has done an amazing job wit his first ever attempt at a rye over sow
“and then I’m gana kill it” 😅 love it! What a beautiful lawn.
Bahaha I know right... Ben has done really well with this lawn he should be super proud
Holy shit that’s on 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Efforts definitely paid off 👍🏻
It really is a credit to Ben I reckon
Spectacular lawn Ben!
Might change my name to Ben so I get results like this.
Bahaha Love it
Total street domination!
This is a timely video as i sprayed out my rye oversow about 5 days ago. Keen to hear about how to treat and look after the lawn during the transition process.
There will be an update in the coming weeks mate
@@theaussielawn all good! I’m probably a week in front so it will be more a case of validation that I’ve done the right thing when the vids drop. 🤩
WOW that lawn looks almost black it's so dark!!!
It is nuts hey, One of the best rye lawns I've seen in a while
I absolutely love rye but even with obsessive upkeep and prevention I would lose most the lawn every year to fungus in the summer. Switched to tifTuf. Thanks for the vid cuz I can’t wait to do this next year. Looking forward to seeing how the tifTuf looks after the rye dies off. Are you gonna scalp and dethatch after it’s dead?
Most welcome mate, Cant wait for the follow up and to see it myself after the Rye has died off
Very nice winter project.
Nice little safety speech to get the world happy.
Not bad hey! Yeah I feel its super important to play safe with the chemicals you cant be too careful
So dark! Wow! Thats better than Brentons and Bens lol
Definitely better than mine haha mine was very neglected over winter this year
Amazing result for Ben, so green and lush!
Beautiful lawn isn't it
Looks so green shame to get rid of it he's done well
I agree its a shame but unfortunately its an evil necessity His done a fab job
I would love to be the guy that has a lawn like that during winter. But I go dormant when it's cold and I don't like getting out of bed, let alone mow my lawn.
Awesome effort.
Hahaha
Top effort ben. 10/10
💯
Best lawn i have seen. Congratulations to the owner as we all know how regimented you would have too be.
I agree Rob, Ben has done a wonderful job on his first ever rye oversow
That looks insane!!!
Yeah 💯 Ben has done an unreal job
That lawn was beautiful
It sure was mate
Really great overseed job.
It worked really well didn't it. He has done a great job of curating it over winter
And then i am going to kill it, lol. Love it
Haha kinda sinister hey haha
