I often wonder how the animators feel when they have to make a gorgeous and beautifully detailed fight scene against a painstakingly and intricately animated villain, knowing full well Saitama is going to completely erase it with 1 punch 😂

I know a lot of people want Saitama’s power to be recognized by more people in the show, but I feel like Saitama himself wouldn’t want that, because then he would be S class rank 1 and get called for every single strong villain, and never get left alone. He would hate that

The first season of One Punch Man is the most detailed and well done anime I've ever seen. The wealth of details is absurd! Good thing for season 3 the studio has changed. We will probably have the same or better traits than season 1.

@@DanAtreides Yea just too many still shot fights where all we see is the result and not the actual movement of fighting. This is why I love Saitama's fight with Boros and the Subterranean Dream Scene. Lots of movement.

I have not been the only one annoyed by this like what in the hell was the sound effect people doing it sounds like it was computer generated or some shit, like if they fixed the sound effects I wouldn't even mind the animation all that much but that shit just kills me. And also cutting out small scenes from the manga that would add to the comedy/badassness just to keep up the fast pace but that's understandable ig

Exactly. It is actually a very significant mistake to say tha Saitama didn't hold back. It was precisely that he held back which allowed the fight to be so long.

Boros died because of the shock wave from Saitama's punch..you can see exactly when Boros gets hit by the sockwave. and no, considering the fact that Saitama calculated exactly how much strenght he needs to use to go back from the moon to earth without damaging earth or the moon, shows that if he went full speed, Boros wouldn't eve ndream of moving 1/100th of an inch
@Irunwitha hatchet Remember that Saitama actually made a comment to Genos how he just incinerated the whole Dr. Genus building without trying out the fights they had in store for them. Saitama wanted to see how other people fight and to see if they could hurt him out of pure fun and curiosity. He liked the Boros fight because Boros lived through one punch. But he definitely didn't go all out as Boros stated before he died.
