I moved to India couple of months back.. the pay scale these days are very high and companies provide WFH option these days n you save almost equivalent to US ..primary reason why I moved is to take care of my parents..

Yes I totally agreed about the pay scale

Not just start ups alone…All product based companies are paying more than 35 LPA for someone with 7-8 years of experience and few product based are offering more than 50 LPA especially if one has more experience of 10 plus years…

I stayed in US for 13+ years and moved to India 5 months back. It has both positives and negatives. If you are getting a pay in India and can save monthly a Lakh and invest in right places. India has every possible option to enjoy. But, US traffic rules are far better than any countries. In India if you stay in major cities like BLR, Chennai, etc, traffic is hectic during peak time like LA 101 :-). In India many living communities are getting developed these days. I lived in NJ, LA, and in Central coast as well. But, due to these large community building coming up in India, I am able to give every possible amenities for kids in India. But, in US if you stay in NY/LA/NJ, you need to pay/drive to that place for that. Education and giving freedom to kids till 5th grade is very good at US. In India that is different. But, after 8th grade till college US and India has nothing different, Kids has go through lot struggle in studies. If someone wants to move form US to India, they should do it before kids come to 3rd grade to convince them :-). Same way if someone trying to move form India to US after their kids reach 5th grade, I would suggest your life will hell for moving there for kids education. For girls kids, its better to be in India before their10 yrs. Everyone's opinion differs, I respect it.

You can see lot of top companies CEO 's are from Indian origin. As Ratan Tata said learn as much you can from abroad and implement it in India and make our country to grow to next level..

Everyone has a individual reasoning for travel from home to US. I personally feel we should be back to our country considering our parents and kids to have a very good bonding which I had with my grandparents. I got educated in our country and got lucky with visa. I believe my kids can be well educated in our country and be back for higher studies based on their interest. I believe the early move will have added advantage for kids to get used to our country school environment.

I think there is no clear answer for this topic. How I handle it for now is leaving it Gods way and not trying to oversteer. Wherever we are, staying in close touch to India by visiting often is very important. Teaching about greatness of india and usa to kids is very important. The way India is growing in the recent few years is amazing. If we continue this trend, then all brains will be back. When in USA, spreading awareness of the greatness of India. When in India, try and implement the good things in USA :) World is one ! Vasudhaiva Kudumbham ❤️ hope we get freedom back to travel to India when we want. This visa and gc thing seems to be nothing short of a humanitarian crisis. If this continues in usa, they can no longer attract the smart brains.

I am shuffling between USA and India because of therapy needs for kid. India seems to be affordable in case of therapies and inclusive school with shadow assistance. In USA, therapies are super expensive and difficult to manage with single salary. But the acceptance and guidance is better over in USA and no familial pressure. Schooling is free in USA but worry for kids safety is more in both places. Best is earn in USA and spend in India 😅

i got my baby last year. she s 16 month old now. Before she was born, I liked US. After she was born, I started to favor India. i came to India on vacation 5 months back when she was around 1 year & fortunately/unfortunaty gor to stay here due to my h1b visa appointment u availability. But, during these 5 months, I felt that Im really stress free in terms of raising my child. ive live in nanny, day cook in my home, my parents are around for more support even though they r quite old to physically handle my baby. Only difficult thing is working during PST hours due to my visa. Other than that I don t have to stress too much o. my daughter, so far.
I just got my visa & we r planning to travel this month end. i already started to feel the stress & tension of managing both my work & kid once i go back there. Raising kids & balancing both work & life is very stressful in US. Nanny & helper r on hourly basis & only on weekdays in US. Where as in India, u get the luxury of having helper/cook/live in nanny/good food outside whenever u feel like...especially raising kids is defintely stress free in India..
In terms of education, infrastructure is good in US schools. However, the curriculum or the way one studies, for school education I don t see much difference. For college/higher studies - yes, US definitely matters. Especily if the child is US born/citizen,I feel they can always go there for higher studies/work/settle whenever needed witbout any visa hassles in their later life.
Its just all abt the pay that one gets here. If the pay in India matches the savings/pay in US & if the child is already a US citizen, then living in lndia is a boon.

Firstly, I can close my laptop and do a evening stroll with my family which I never dream about in India. My kids go to sleep before I come home and they leave early before I’m awake. Secondly, I can have a healthy diet. Eat and sleep at right time and lead a healthy life.
I miss the Place, food, friends and parents yet I can have a good time with my family.
Uncertainty is everywhere.. we just need to keep our heads up and keep going.
Even though the package in India is okay we also had to consider the inflation as well.
I simply wanted to set a good platform for my kids so they can built on it. We simply are a replanted tree in a hostile environment. It’s up to us to nurture them.

My Sister family moved to india when my nephew was in 8th grade and he completed is MBBS and is back to pursue his Masters. To Excel and study well depends on individual potential and we cannot rely on US school and Indian school either. Confidence doesn’t come with schooling may be here in US the platform is vast to set that up but kid growing in india can also be made more confident when that kind of interaction happens. I personally know that my nephew felt very happy moving to india to live with grand parents and go different places including villages within india during studies which I suppose he would not even experienced in US.

Hi Bro, Can you help me with this scenario like drop box eligibility for different class. I got an L1B Visa in Chennai and came to the United States of America in Nov 2018. I got an L1 extension here and am continuing working here in the US now.
Recently I have applied and been approved for an H1B and received I-797A for the same and is valid from Oct 1st 2022.
Now I am going to apply for a H1B visa for myself and H4 for my dependents at the same time at the US embassy in Chennai, India. Since my previous visa was L1B and my current visa is going to be H1B, Am i still eligible for a US visa Interview waiver? Are my dependent (H4) also eligible for a US visa Interview waiver?

I am also planning to move but its for my parents, there is no point in feeling later that I hope I was with them when they need us. Nice video again.. but you missed to touch one important aspect .. health care.. India va asaika mudiyathu. For non IT folks like me who are in academia.. higher education institutions.. US offers best work life balance and best opportunity in the world. Of course the compromise is salary aspect. We get paid peanuts compared to IT. One important reason for us is the exposure kids get here in early ages. That’s advantage. Also you said college education is good that’s true but for undergrad it might be extremely expensive. Not all international students get scholarships in undergrad may be in masters and definitely in PhD. But undergrad everyone may not be able to afford

despite of all i strongly feel USA is happen place where anyone can grow like current v.p she is india african...

    • @sriramparthasarathy9342

I disagree. Kids can still move around in India but it’s our minds that is shrouded with so much fear/concern with all the negative feed from internet/social media that even an innocuous pat by a neighbor uncle would make it seem malicious. But here in US, there is an even greater threat. There is not one place that is safe anymore, anywhere in the US. Kids going to school has never been a more life threatening situation than it is now. This is on top of all the child abuse/rapes, break ins, drug peddling, teen pregnancy and racial profiling. This is a completely broken society and no matter how many years you spend and assimilate, you will never be accepted as one. Folks who realize this, take the decision to go back.

Thanks Arthi Prem. You make very good informative content. My small request to you is to make a video on Students studying abroad. Especially Indian Students flocking US Colleges. US Colleges are the best but these students don't understand the Dark side of US Immigration laws. Once they finish their College, to start working Legally they need OPT Visa and then they have to try their luck against H1B Lottery. Finally when they get into Green Card, for Indians the Wait time to get Green Card is 90+ years in Employment Based 2 and 3 category. At that point their entirety of youth is spent in US paying taxes and finally when they know the reality that they cannot settle there legally, they face their Kids age out of H4 Dependent Visa. To know more please read these webpage which details dark side of US Immigration. Kindly educate our Indian Students so that they make right choice and don't regret later. There are many Colleges like in Norway where they can educate for free and other countries like Canada where Immigration laws are friendly. My humble request to enlighten future of India.
