I love how you break this down to the bare bone and explain everything where I can understand it. I really appreciate your method of teaching, please don't stop making videos.
I am in my masters and I am pathetically lagging back, I have my exams soon and you have helped me the most, the way you are teaching wraps up most of the details and I dont have to look for books like Kuby or peter and wood to study more. thank you again! keep up the good work! happy Learning!!
Who would've guessed me with my self diagnosed ADD would be able to go an hour non-stop with immunology! YOU ARE AWESOME! Thank you for all the hard work!
My great LECTURER, you will live up to 150 years so that God will be using you to make score A* in all our course. May you be handsomely rewarded with everything u need in life through our Almighty God, Jesus Christ.... Amen.thank you once again.
really appreciate that all this info is presented so succinctly without filler!! a lot of info packed into a short vid. so helpful and great for cramming. thank you!!
That lecture is excellent, I don't even hold a book to study but your lecture help me to understand in thirteen minutes, keep it up, you are indeed a very good teacher. I learn so much and just thirteen minutes for my exam.
stumbled across your lovely youtube videos and they help so much! Currently taking Physiology and was having a little trouble on this topic but you made it all clear to me. thanks!!
You are an excellent teacher, I thought men were more equipped to be mechanics and certain physician because of all the parts involved, and you actually helped me see the cellular world very differently. I can honestly say your passion has stimulated my thought process. As women, I can see my future a little clear in research for CDC. Thank you so much. I listen to your lectures over and over again.
You covered the main aspect of the topic very well, Well done Sir, and a bunch of thanks for all of your efforts. Despite, directly giving a list of references to my students, I prefer to recommend watching your lectures first.
Sir you are the best in teaching.. Truly speaking, when my sir thought me this topic I didn't even got a single word but after watching this video I thik it's the easiest topic.. Thank you sir..
ihaired the word (helper T cells) sooo many times in this video coz it plays crucial role in adaptive immunity and anything goes wrong with these cells will affect the whole immune system in our body like in case of HIV infection which targets helper T cells
I could be mistaken, but I think CD8+ (e.g. cytotoxic T cells) can be activated by T helper cells to enhance their response, however their fate as cytotoxic is decided on in thymus, when they are presented to antigen by APC.
Thank you, you give such clear explanations that helped me understand concepts I didn't understand from my professor's classroom lectures! Yours and Khan Academy's channel is the best for scientific explanations!!
I happened to stumble across your wonderful lectures and cannot be any happier. Your explanations have given me such a clear understanding of things. I am probably on my 10 video lol. Stay awesome!!
Imesh Ekanayake ، yes , B cell binds to the APC(antingen presenting cell like microphage) BUT must produce a specific AB to that antingen , and that is by the plasma cell that produced by the differentiaton of B-cell , .... so the bindning is just a signal to helper T cell to come and do the differentiation ....... i hope u could understad that .
i have a quetion,,, i didnt get where the helper T cell came from , ? in thymus there are naive T cell only, so how helper t cell come , and it can only help b cell to differenciate when it exist , can anyone clear me this concept :(
When an infected cell is in our body. It has peptide with MHC class 1 and we know that Helper t cells bind to MHC of class 2 so Helper t cells won’t bind to this infected cell so from where did the Helper t cells come from??? Pleaseee helpp
T helper cells don’t bind to infected cells directly, they facilitate T cell differentiation forming killer T cells (CD8) which are specific for MHC class 1 and attack infected cells.
I love your lectures. keep up the great work. One issue with this video though....don't B- lymphocyte cells have to bind to intact (native) antigens? Your lecture seems to imply they can bind to processed antigens inside of macrophages which i understood only T-lymphocyte cells could do.
hi! yes, the b-cell receptor can only bind intact antigens.. but these intact antigens can be found free-floating in the extracellular fluid OR they can also be presented by antigen-presenting cells such as macrophages (these antigens are not necessarily processed by the macrophages, they can also be presented whole). hope that cleared it up :)
I love how you break this down to the bare bone and explain everything where I can understand it. I really appreciate your method of teaching, please don't stop making videos.
this guy is a legend
11:55. Take screenshot guys. It will be helpful at last minute. I do this for all videos.
Thanks man
Thanks bro
Thank you so much

mehn you are like a walking biochemistry book...you helped me excel in my undegraduate. Thanks a lot.
I love that you do not have adds in your lectures!! amazing!! thank you!
I don't know what i would do without his videos. Honestly would have failed all of my bio classes
I love the way you teach. You made every point clear to me regarding this topic. Thanks a lot.
A great biology teacher. A great role model for teachers.

So glad I found this channel while studying for exam week!!
wow?
the amount of informations you provide in such a limited time is impressive .thank you.

Joleen Rose you're welcome! glad to be of help! :)
Thank you sir for not letting my subjects back ... U helped me a lot

Wonderful explanation
Thank you
Thank you so much sir for explaining so well
great videos شكرا 👍
currently studying physiology and has a problem in this topic thanks to u now I know
Great job sir
You are amazing!!!
great explanation
Thank you, you give such clear explanations that helped me understand concepts I didn't understand from my professor's classroom lectures! Yours and Khan Academy's channel is the best for scientific explanations!!
b-lymphocytes do not bind to APC's , they bind to free antigens only.
Thank you
Great class, thank you!
Thank You !!!
I happened to stumble across your wonderful lectures and cannot be any happier. Your explanations have given me such a clear understanding of things. I am probably on my 10 video lol. Stay awesome!!
Wonderful wonderful such clear explanation !!
Thank you so much 🥺
Very well done...brill
Thank you sir
very very useful Thnx alot
Good
GREAT
ur lectures are so great, but could u tell us ur reference in these immune system lectures ?
Amazing explanation ☺☺
I'm confused. if B Lymphocytes are antigen presenting cells then what's the need of them to bind with macrophage's displayed antigens? Please help
Is interferons belonging to innate or adaptive immune system
whats the difference between antigen and pathogen? is pathogen itself an antigen?
Padma Youdol the antingen is a micro organism that have the virulent material (the Basic gene) that is called antingen
No, the antigen is a part of the pathogen.
Beautifully explained! Very helpful, thanks :)
Thank u sir
i have a quetion,,, i didnt get where the helper T cell came from , ? in thymus there are naive T cell only, so how helper t cell come , and it can only help b cell to differenciate when it exist , can anyone clear me this concept :(
It would be so helpful if the information on the white board could be downloaded
Thanks so much for this video, I now understand this concept.
Don't get me wrong. I love your lectures, but there are some inaccuracies here that need to be addressed by an immunologist.
Just waoh!
Thank you so so so so much and THANK YOU!!!,

Please I want to understand
would it be possible to get any pharmacy related sciences on your channel? you are VERY good.
Sir,
I. love. you.
10:27 for full picture.
Put subtitles pls
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Why are there no videos translated into Arabic?
Probably because I dont speak Arabic! ;-)

Ok why not have a translator translate all the videos for those who are not good at English: )
