Then, I got a closer look and noticed the playing wasn't in sync with the melody and no vibrato motion on the finger board. Then that's when I got suspicious they were faking it. Does anyone know what country or culture they are from? I'm guessing East European Romany???

Professional beggars are the worst. Its not that they fell on hard times and need a little helping hand. This is their culture, they dont want to work. They refuse to work. And they have their kids out there with them learning the family trade.
