I did one of these at work. The bearing itself wasn't bad, the rubber support holding the bearing went bad. We found a two piece replacement online from European parts solution (EPS) and it worked well. I did not have to remove the shaft from the vehicle or disassemble the constant velocity joint. It took about 20 mins and it's been problem free for almost a year now.
Replacement of the center bearing takes 30 minutes. remains the original protection of the cv-joint and the ring. It is necessary to collect the shaft just as it was dismantled in one line. center nearing is reversed.
People, please don't make how to videos if you don't know how. This is the 3rd video I have viewed, this one with the constant shaking camera and dumb background music instead of voice intructions just gave me a headache......uuggghhhh
You disassembled the joint bearings... Bad idea, it's not lined up anymore and gonna vibrate. Also, you didn't show the most important part...(removal and install of bearing) I just see pictures... Horrible video, missed showing the point

All the two piece ones that I found where it least $250 more then the stock replacement.
only way to watch this video is to watch it muted, do it now, or find one of the other many videos on this,

Where did you find the rubber boot to replace the metal cover? Is it a CV axle boot of some sort?

I'm not a genius. I just found a piece of music that does not violate the copyright rules.
