For everyone that wants to keep the light on while driving, or basically when u turn on your head lights. You have to go to the plug behind the one he tells you with the white connector that should be laying horizontal, on that same one just do the same process but you will attach it to the thin purple wire with a white stripe, which is the parking lights wire which is connected to the head lights and etc. From there just follow the same steps and ur good to go, don’t worry if the car takes a second to “reboot” I just turned it on once and let it over night and it was perfect and ready to go in the morning
Leo Aviles it should but you should look online for a manual and make sure you have the same colors for the wires, once u find it, make sure it’s the one that says “Parking Lights (+)” and look through it, that’s how I found it
Bought these in blue. Had professionals handle the install. Told them I wanted it set up so that they come on with the accessories and they stay on when I drive. They do! Not only that but when i leave the lights in auto mode, they cut on when the sensors indicate its dark enough to use the headlights! Couldn't be happier! It is possible to have these wired so they stay on while driving. just connect them to the accessories wire (sadly Idk which that is but any professional I imagine can get the wiring diagrams and figure it out). Side note: at first they didn't cut on because the battery wasn't putting out enough amps so they had to put in a relay.
How close are the colors to the My Color option already on the 2018 model? Thinking about adding this but still want to use the red light in the doors and cupholders.

Hi, in my 3.7 V6 2016 - connected wire as shown but there is no current on grey wire. What can be wrong in this case ? Should be change anything by Forscan to activate this grey wire ?
@@cjponyparts Awesome! So is having it only come on with the dash lights/headlights an option if you want them to stay on while driving? Do you think they are too bright to leave on while driving to the point they're distracting?
+TheAndyPKay It is just a power and ground so you absolutely could. We found the puddle light kits we sell for the 05-10 cars fit perfectly in the factory underdash light brackets on the 65-70 cars

Daniel Lozano cool,
thanks!
@@l.a.3330 if you installed this and successfully wired it to achieve this desired option could you let everyone know what the wire is?
Philip Gouldman I just kept it basic and did the install as designed lol.
5:03 Cringing while Bill is yanking on the wires. Pull it out by the plug Bill! :p

I noticed a nice red trim around the stereo, doors and dash. What kind of material is that? And where can I get it?
Hey brother do they make that lighting for the footwell for GT350
that is great. I can use these instructions to install my lighted door seal. I bought.. Just need to find those tapping wire thingys. lol thanks CJ
ociriszues . I know its an old comment but for everyone else. Its called a t tap. Red = 18 to 22 ga wire.
@@jasper022679 what do u mean red = 18 - 22 ga? As in the red wire = the wire were supposed to tap or ?
Looks really good. I wish the Ford mycolor leds were brighter. They're pretty useless to be honest.
Will they stay on while the car is running?
What wire do you use to keep the lights on when you are driving?

Can someone please tell me what wire to splice I want them on when the headlights come on and stay on
Anyway for them to come on while the doors are closed
The music is a nice touch to the video! Debating on! It would cost 120 Canadian.
Bill always says ill be back on the road in no time. Too much pressure.
Do you guys sell the red piping insert ??
that does look good
nasomaz I wanna know where to get that too
Could I use this exact same kit on my 2016 5.0?
yes
What wire do I use because I only have a grey and blue tracer or a brown and purple tracer or a blue and purple tracer on there ? Need help ASAP
Josue Antunez did you ever figure it out?
Do the lights stay on while driving or only when doors are open?
Only when the doors are open. You can wire it other ways it you want options.

They should have a kit like this for the trunk
All you need to do is just get this kit and a few lengths of wire and do it your self. Would be a good project

Lol, Ford doesn't make a premium v6, so it's not an option.
They don't offer one and what if at the time someone could not afford one. SMH.
Just another fuck boy on TH-cam lol
