You’ve got me hooked. I love the ideas you come up with. I’ve shopped like crazy since I started watching you. I’m disabled and can’t get out much. This is the first craft that does not stress me out. Thank you so much for opening up a new way to relax. I can make the items you make and they don’t have to be perfect.
I totally agree! She is a gift to all of us.
Oh mercy, a bow is a bow!! This is suppose to be fun, it’s not for a museum! I love it!
As a newbie your voice and fabulous attitude of “it doesn’t have to be perfect “ soothes my heart!
Thank you so much and welcome to the family.
This idea Mrs E is perfect for Thinking of you projects and gifts. As you know I am disabled and can’t get around much.
These types of projects calm my mind thru the current stress. Thank you 🙏
So happy they help. Thank you.
Finally I found someone who makes a junk journal that isn't complicating. Now I have confidence that I can make one -- Thank-You
I absolutely love watching your videos and love hearing you talk about your happenings. Keep telling your story I will always listen. It helps my depression and anxiety as well. God bless you and I'm always praying for you
loved watching you work through this! I worked along with you! I will lift Melina's friend up to her Creator, who loves her so much! In a Bible study yesterday I had a new thought..Does He want us to come home with him more than we do?? He tells us HE goes and prepares a place for us...as we are His beloved. Much thought on this subject this weekend..sister passed from Covid this week and my son's father in law did also, such a Godly and precious man..so much we don't understand, as His ways are higher than ours..Praying for Melina's friend and loved ones.
You never stop amazing me. 3 yr old video and you make a simple lunch bag a work of art
I have 2 little friends who would love receiving this journal. Thank you!
OMW!! I have never yelled at a video so much! I LOVE the little journal but you kept covering up the pretty papers!! First the bird then that pretty cover. You worked so hard to make that paper count just to cover it up! Sorry, I do like to watch you, but remember Coco Channel, sometimes less is more. Seriously, bless you for sharing your gifts with us. Hugs!
I love this idea! Makes a quick and easy journal. Thank you Edith for your talent... 💕💕
I have been a bow maker for 20 years and your way is completely acceptable, I have and do tie them different every time depending on the materials you use. and your little bow is so cute as is the whole journal. from one southern woman to another I think you are such a blessing to many. and we are all praying for your daughters friend and yalls whole family and theirs.
I just made a birthday card for my granddaughter using the Graphic45 Woodland! And I think I may make this lunch bag for my great grandson for his birthday.. I absolutely LOVE Graphic45 card stock. The colors are beautiful, the graphics so pretty. I can't afford a lot of it in the12x12 size so I usually only buy the 8x8 tablets. Only "special" family/friends get it! Lol ...
When you use a paper bag, try burnishing it firmly all over with a bone folder before anything else is done. This should take away any wrinkles and straighten the crooked edges. It really does make it much easier to cover with paper.
I really liked this idea. I won’t look at lunch bags any other way after this video. Thank you.
I’m so glad I found your channel! I don’t know what it is about paper bags that I just love crafting with them. This has got to be one of the best tutorials for a mini journal I have seen. No measuring or awkward folds and it looks fabulous! I have subscribed and am excited about seeing your great ideas!
May the Lord bless and give divine wisdom to Melina's friend. Thank you for your inspiring instruction, from Barbara (Bobbi June) missionary, singer/songwriter, chef, (all as a volunteer), serving training Latin American missionaries to serve among unreached people groups (Asia, Africa, Middle East). In the autumn of my life of service, it is a joy to discover crafts, sustainable and loving, to care for others; supplies are so expensive here; your ideas help me to make something beautiful with what might be discarded. Thank you!
May God bless you for your service. And I am so blessed that you take the time out of what I know is a very busy schedule to watch me create. Blessings to you and prayers coming to you in the mission field. E
I have watched this tutorial several times and, I love it more each time! Great video!
That statement is so true ~ when our kids hurt is as if whatever it is, was happening to us 😔 it's one of the hardest things for me bc I know I have to have faith and let God, but it takes a lot out of me, to be honest.
On another note... I almost can't believe that this project used to be a paper bag. Slowly but surely it turned so beautiful ❤️
Praying for healing and strength for Malina and her friend. In Jesus' name, Amen!
Those pesky bone folders like to grow legs and walk away! Mine does ALL the time! I love your videos!!! So inspiring! Thank you! Prayers for Melina's friend. God is great and hears our prayers!! God bless you!
I am amazed that someone would tell you that you tied you bow wrong. Across the planet we have learned several different ways to tie bows. I tie similar to you , but my husband learned totally different. Beautiful little journal. Praying.
Lovely Little Flip Book! So Charming and Useful!
Wonderful Anytime Gift! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤
Prayers for Melinas friend and family and for all those who are experiencing problems today. Let God in your heart and give the pain over to Him.
E these are such sweet little journals. Just the right size to tuck into your purse! Or to give out as a RAK. Stay crafty and healthy! Laura m🎄
Omg I’ve never seen a deckle edge ruler before, that’s amazing
Finally I meet someone who ties a bow like me. I have a stack of paper bags that are getting used today thanks to your inspiration.
I’ve never made a junk journal but you make them look so easy
Precious...what a tiny treasure. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us
I haven't seen anything like this.
You're a good teacher! A natural!
Thanx for the time
Absolutely adorable. Love watching you create!! Although I was yelling don’t put the sticker over the the bird 😞.
Yeah...seemed like the bird was an awesome focal point before that
Yeah, here I am in 2024 wondering why the bird got covered up. 🤷🏻♀️
Anyone else start looking suspiciously at ALL paper bags after subscribing to Eve? LOL
Lol
I'm glad she demonstrated this technique. This was my first crafting experience about 15 years ago. I still save bags!!!
Me too!
Nice idea❤️ thank you Ms. E❤️
Love this mini journal book especially the paper. Beautiful work.
Absolutely love this project. I am going to try it. Thanks for sharing. One grateful Canadian.
So so glad I found your channel!! I can't wait to try this asap! I love your papers too. Great idea!!
Thank you and welcome.
Love this covered bag tutorial! It came out so cute! Gonna try making it. TFS! GREAT TUTORIAL.
You tie bows perfectly 😊 love your paper bag episode! Will be making one later this afternoon, after my grandsons soccer practice today 🥰 happy grandma 💗
You tie your bows exactly the same way I do, and my bows have been holding my shoes on over 60 years lol. I watch a LOT of videos and I've seen at least 5 different ways of tying bows. But they all turn out looking like a bow, and that's what's important.
You always amaze me how you can take a piece of nothing and turn it into something beautiful. You definitely have a great gift. 😊❤️
Thank you so much for those words.
I love, love, love this idea! Thank you so much!
Thankyou for this technique. I've been doing these for about 15 years now. I Call them the "paper bag album". Yours is pretty
This is such an amazing and inspiring idea! I am into journalling but have yet to foray into this world of ultra-decorative journals and scrapbooks - this might be the perfect place to start. Thank you xx
May the Lord bless you and your family and friend and her family prayers are coming your way thank you for showing us a wonderful little gift idea which you can do so much with for any occasion thanks for showing us your talent
So sweet. Yes great for Xmas presents. Thank you so much for sharing. 💕
Prayer added! You made me smile today, as you explained the way you tie bows. My Father taught me to tie the bows on my shoes. He sat me down in front of the toe end of his shoes (facing him) and I studied as he tied his shoes. I learned immediately, he was so proud of me. It was not until later in life that a friend pointed put I tied all my bows backwards. 😂 😀 A special little foible, learned at my Daddy's "boot toe"! Have a super day.
Loved it!!! Thank you!!!
I love this. I made one for one of my great grandsons for his 10th birthday in February. Decided I needed to make another for another great grandson whose birthday is on the 6th of next month. So glad I found the video!! Thank you for this demo video.
I love these!!! I never thought of using lunch sacks as a base! Ingenius idea for so many people as little gifts!
Your ideas amaze me, I can't wait to try some...thank you....
Lovely paper! And I made a couple bag journals, what fun! TFS
My prayers go out to Melinda and her friends family
You put the oddest papers together that I would shouldn't go together.🤔 BUT your stuff ALWAYS turns out beautifully. ALWAYS. 😊🤗
A random jewel, I was scrolling along and stumbled across your tutorial. That has got to be the most clever use of a paper bag I have ever seen! I just love it 😍 definitely going to make several to set aside as gifts. Checking out your shop for a few items I’ll need. Happy to click the subscribe button! I’ll be watching for more.
Thank you for the step by step instructions. Simple and clear! As you said There are many ways to make this journal, there are different ways to figure out mathematical problems, and different ways of tying bows! As long as you're happy making projects keep up the fun projects!😊
You ARE tying your bows the right way.
I love it. I like that you used the pamphlet stitch in it. That just makes it so nice. Thanks for sharing all your creative stuff. I love watching your videos and have made several things using your ideas.
Sensational and easy due to your explanation! Thanks.
Beautiful, Thank you for the inspiration- love this little journal!
Wow, I must try. Thank you for making it look so easy. Takes me back to my scrapbooking days. God Bless. I will be praying for your family friend. Trusting God for the acceptance His will until then we will make our requests known. This is absolutely gorgeous and simple.
This is the cutes journal ever. I bought the same paper and tags you used and made my own little journal. Thank you for your tutorial, sure will make a lovely gift.
Prayers for all involved for strength, wisdom, and comfort. This project is so pretty. I think it would be nice to do a seasonal theme also. Thanks so much for sharing your talents and ideas.
This is your prettiest journal, IMHO. Love the paper and ephemera choices. Well done!
I love this so much. I love that you made it from a brown paper bag! I also love the glue bottle with the fine tip.

This is a fun project! I will try to make one. Thank you for sharing!
Love this project. 🙂 There is something about lunch bags that speaks to me with crafting.
I love this , wish I had more patience to make stuff like this.
Love it I just love it thank you for sharing and it’s so simple oops I need to get my paper bags have a blessed day
I'm glad to see that brown lunch bags are being used again. I was surprised to see you cover the green bird after you made a point to be sure to get it on that page.
I know, right? I find that the paper crafters and multi-media artists that I watch are always doing that kind of thing! Just what happens when you're crafting on the fly, I guess.
Changed m mind in mid stream. It happens lol. Thank you.
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS That's what makes us creative souls. I get it. If we needed everything written down to a set plan, we'd be engineers not crafters!
So adorable. You make it look so easy. Thank You for sharing.
Thanks, I enjoyed making this along with you.
I really like this mini journal!
How lovely. Thank you 💫
LOVE how you say, "but I'm not going to worry about that." Thank you for teaching us all so much!!!!

I tried this for my first journal. I loved making it so much I'm working on my third journal....much harder ones. I love how there are so many choices for how to make them. And I enjoy your voice. You have the same accent my Grandmother had. She was from Nebraska. Yours may be a little more Southern, though. Thanks for the great videos.
Love this idea!
