Necropolis Knights need some love. If there's one thing you'd expect the halberd variant to be good at is putting up a tough fight against a big angry monster, especially at that price point.
Is anyone else curious about Dread Saurians place in a game? Carnosaurs without being ganged up on can 1v1 most if not all monsters in the game. Bastiladon are cheap armor and hp blocks that soak up anything except AP missle fire. Stegadons are infantry crushers So what niche will Dread Saurians Specalize in? I find it hard to believe they are just super carnosaurs cause at that point A Scar Vet and Feral Carnosaur or a Olblood on carno are just better.
Not sure! however this DLC honestly seems like CA is adding things that fans wanted, which I think is awesome to be honest - whatever it ends up being i'm guessing it will be absurdly strong & expensive
They'll most likely combine the killing power of a Carnosaur with the Tankyness of the Stegadon, not to mention that they'll most likely get a bunch of abilities and ward saves.
In the fluff Dread Saurians are slightly more powerful than Carnosaurs, but more importantly, they were versatile. It had option to become Ethereal, get Flaming Impact Hits, boost it's Toughness at the expense of Movement, or get special Ambushers rule. So they'll probably give Lizardmen just more options

Blood knights can slaughter a group of necropolis knights with halberds, then have enough health left to kill a full health settra on a khemrian warsphinx solo after losing their lord. They suffer from the old pre buff grail knight syndrome. Their unit size is far too small for their weapon strength.
yeah theyre wierd. like their statline looks really solid, they have anti large with good ap, all this stuff... but they never quite seem to pay for themselves
@@colossusslayer1234 Because for cavs units, their charge is meh, crap speed and shit defense so CA try to make em a jack of all trade units but in the end they cannot do anything good. For Tomb Kings their best anti large units is Ushabti then RoR Sphinx, anything else is for utility.
Halberds work better with magic support, like with Djaf's incantation of Cursed Blades they can do wonders if surround their target, only for 5 mana overcasted version will give them 20% WS bonus and +16 versus large bonus. Of course, you can also buff with that a Sphinx, but at lease two packs of halberds can be at two places at once.
They won't be able to spam those, in my experience they build few enough of them to not be a problem. If you have to fight them you start with enough AP to do so.

I think it may be a combination of stegadons and carnosaurs, extremely strong and expensive all-rounded beast

Never been impressed with the snakes when I've used them. They need some serious buffs.

Spam Saurus and autoresolve. They will spam horsemen, so you can't play out the battles. But they can't kite in autoresolve.

They should really make the undead immune to poison if you ask me. Doesn't make sense.
Poison is a debuff, not a damage type, so they can't make poison immunity a thing.
