Wonder what spell lore would work the best here. Flames of Azgorh does destroy one infantry unit on every cast if it lands, but it's a big and risky investment. I would probably prefer metal caster with searing doom and plague of rust, especially since debuffs aren't affected by spell resist. Not sure about the rest of the build. Orc labourers and any of the GW chaos dwarf units don't have enough melee attack to get through the melee defense of any dwarven melee unit. Probably just cutthroats for the capture weight and trying to take down the infantry with the RoR train once the wolf raiders have disrupted the cannons.
Hmm. I wonder if the proliferation of Slayer units is a bit toxic. The Unbreakable trait is handed out stingily for a reason, and when it was just Slayers/Giantslayers, it had less of a presence on the dwarf battlefield. Now there's one with a -10 MA debuff down to the last model, an anti-infantry version, a hybrid version etc.
Idk. But isn't slayer units as it self a bit weird? Slayers are outcasts, isolationists, only to be convinced to fight in normal wars in few desperate situations. But according to culture they should be isolationists fighting trolls, giants, dragons and demons. So that there is a unit of slayers is a bit.... Atypical for dwarves anyhow.
I am reminded of that school year photos meme. Dwarfs Vs the COOLER Dwarfs. The only chaos faction i actually like. They actually invent shit and put demons in machines and use magic. Exploit everything they can even the bull mutations! Classic dwarfs are kinda boring even lore wise. They are so resistant to change that it makes no sense how they even got ahead of humans in tech...You would expect them to be the innovators with Tanks, Mechs and other war-machines but nope...
Chorfs can win most match ups vs order dwarfs with good micro and knowing what dwarves like to bring. This player was very below average on micro with poor choices. Especially sending drazhoath in a 1v2 vs Felix and grom he was definitely going to get smoked. He should’ve went with a rush build.

Idk how deep u are in the lore but it makes completely sense that dwarfs are not " ahead" in thinking about tanks and stuff. It's in the lore. They were basicly "ahead" then gave weapons to Sigmar and his companions (humans were still in bronze age at that time) and showed them how to work metal. And then the humans caught up. Gyrocopters and stuff is the dwarfen response to land battles but they mostly fight under ground and in their fortresses and holds. So a tank would be kinda shitty there. It's a bit like saying about a naval faction: well they should have cavalry! .... No they shouldn't xD it doesn't fit their fighting style in the lore. Obvsly, warhammer 3 not beeing lore accurate in the battles.
