The Hero's Journey is a concept that was originally termed by the mythologist Joseph Campell. The different myths are based on a common structure, a common motif that is always repeated. From this archetypal structure one can derive important archetypal steps for successful action, which can be transferred to many everyday scenarios. In the course of the video series, this core structure is applied to many areas of life. Scientifically the Hero's Journey is based on Jungian psychology (C.G. Jung) and comparative mythology.
