@RealEstateNatePVR I see you liked deleting comments so I will repost and continue to repost. People like you are ruining the culture of Puerto Vallarta, constantly causing the cost of living to drastically increase for the people that were born and raised there. Colonizer!

You seem so warm and wonderful. Thank you for sharing your video. We loved PV and I’m moving to Mexico in the next few months as soon as my house in Texas sells.

    This is awesome Nate,
I can also related to you coming from Chicago, and not being Mexican although I speak fluent Spanish. I also feel the same way as you, my partner and I wanted something different, we wanted to moved to Europe, but you mentioned that you wanted to live close home. Which is why we choose Mexico.
Even though we live in NV (Nuevo Vallarta) I feel like the city is more for retires and old folks rather than people within our age range (mid 30s)
Please continue making videos, maybe you can start showing your audience places to eat and hangout.

Hola! You don't really need a Mexican bank account. You can pay any of your utility bills at OXXO or at the grocery stores. I've lived in Mexico for a few years and have two US bank accounts and do everything on my mobile apps. Get a Charles Schwab debit card! They refund all of your ATM use fees and don't charge you any exchange rate or transfer fees. I just transfer money from my main account to my CS account as needed. It's still a cash based society. Landlords and merchants prefer cash for the obvious tax implications. Most all of your credit cards will charge you 3% on any and all purchases that can really add up. BTW- When the ATM's asks you accept the exchange rate decline it! You will still get your money! It's a sneaky way they use to give you a terrible exchange rate. Buena suerte!
