Will these be worth the investment for strictly road touring? I'd like this design(Top loading, square, external tie-down points...) for my 17' Versys 1000LT. I won't be doing any off-road riding but I will be riding with a passenger. The weight of each side/top case is a little off putting, though. The stock cases that came with the bike are decent but there are no options for external gear lashing and the max load weight and volume are very restricting.

Hi there, if i were to put the 58l top case along with 37l side panniers, will it affect the side panniers? Let say if i wants to open the side panniers, will it hit the top case? Thanks
That depends on the bike, the smaller bikes like the CB500X, if you use the 37L sides with a 58L top, you will have slight interference getting the sides open with the top box on. The lids must be pulled slightly outward to clear.
