    There is no excuse to load manage or take rest days when you're getting paid millions of dollars. You're not going to convince the common man who goes to work everyday that it's okay to take nights off.

    the MOST injury prone guys are the ones who dont play alot so there is something to what kenny is saying look at some of the guys who always play lebron jokic harden they get inured alot less and i think its cuz there body is always prepared while guys like ad and joel and kawhi who take time off to load manage always come back and their body isnt prepared for the speed and it causes something to go wrong

    • @Valnak
      @Valnak 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree. I’ve always been terrible at sports. I used to ride the bench in soccer. When I actually would be put in I would be gassed so quickly. Your body is either used to playing at that speed or it isn’t. Taking time off in hopes of limiting injury or “saving some for the playoffs” is ludicrous.

    • @aaronmack9958
      @aaronmack9958 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Valnak wow that was a great observation by a non star. Injuries occur by freak accident, overuse, or being out of shape. Just looking at Joel I would dare to say it's the latter. As Chuck said he only works 4 days a week there is plenty time to rest. Plus they don't practice hard during season so he will get into worse shape increasing chance of injury.

    I blame the sixers fan as a sixers fan. This fanbase was tough and griddy and then they sold their souls for the process. I warned the fans in the local newspaper comment section that this plan of 4/5 years of losing on purpose was terrible and we were scammed by a grifter when Hinkie came on board. Now, we went from the process to the plan. This team is not going to be right until the last piece of the process and gone and that's Embiid. We have yet to make it out of the 2nd round which is where we were at the year before Hinkie was hired when we upset the D. Rose and the Bulls in the first round. The Fans need to voice their displeasure.

    • @Hooderaw
      @Hooderaw 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @tynao2029 it did not work. We are right where we were the year before hinkie came in. Remember, the last year of Doug Collins and that gm was ruined by Andrew bynum and him quitting basketball. When we got him, it was expected to be a championship competing team. The year before we went to the second round by beating the bulls. Then, hinkie came and gave away all of our players with value so we could purposely lose. Rught now, we only have embiid and never got pass the 2nd round. The process was a complete failure and it embarrassed the city for 4 years while fans openly cheered for them to lose. The sixers fans got exposed by a con men until the league had to step in. Then hinkie quit after that ridiculous 14 page resignation letter talking about he has the longest view in the room. Then, he was blackballed by the league.

      I've been a Suxxers fan since 1975. It's CLEAR this is all on Embiid. He is an excellent player when healthy but he is NOT a champion and likely never will be. He doesn't have that FIRE .. that HATRED of losing like Kobe. His announcing he won't play back to back games is what I would expect from someone who doesn't have that fire. Don't know why Philly fans would be upset.

    for the love of God...just cut the games down to 65 or maybe 72 a season and see if it helps all these injury prone players. just give it a trial run for a season. we have 30 teams, we are still going to get hoops seven days a week to watch.
