Excellent pod mate, the one thing you missed out was enduring the corporate bullshit if you take the 9-5 which it sounds like you’ve never had to deal with… office politics, appraisals, meetings, endless fucking PowerPoints… I’m looking to make the move to full time trading to escape that, making enough to get by would be success to me, with my time my own and nobody to answer to. Keep up the good work 👊🏻

You telling he’s never had to work a 9-5? Wow

      @@rebarmelson that’s what I heard in the pod… not a serious one anyway… uni > trading.

Cheers James. Spot on about the office drama. I wanted to make more of a point about the upside of a stable income, networking opportunities and structured lifestyle of a 9-5. Especially coming out of uni. From there, most would be better quipped to transition to trading instead of nosediving the way I did!

Nail on the head. One of the toughest things im finding is structure. Everything at the moment for me (winter in Australia) is on in the middle of the night. Its cold, its late.... it really has been a struggle to get it together. After the t20 world world cup, ive failed in this respect, it simply got too cold lol. Air con would be great, but its so expensive, it all adds in to the costs of it all.
Still, baby steps! thank you for the video. Always learn something, get another point of view watching!

Great video, what would you have to make from trading annually for this career choice to, financially speaking, beat the alternative version of you where you went for the career in Finance.

difficult to say. One could argue for less since i have less expenses and more time freedom. Strictly from a £ for £ standpoint, 100k min. would match up
