Hi DAYTRADEWARRIOR, Have a quetion....will the speed of the internet play a an important role in day trading,? And also on running the trade platforms?
I started watching Ross 6 months ago, and went in hard with real money after a month, and I'll tell ya this, in that 5 months with real money I made more than I have with my full time job, year to date. Thanks man, and this is probably the best beginner video on the free market I've seen yet

Day #1 today using Ross' Day Trade Dashboard and I'm already up 5.46% on my account! My goal is 5% per day and having the scanner to highlight exactly the stocks to look at and decide whether or not to trade was INVALUABLE! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, make it easier to understand all of it, and your honesty. I purchased your book as well ..great book, by the way! Thank you again!
I am at step 0. Started my education (I am devouring your videos, bought your book and started practicing in a free sim). The problem is 1) to set the scanners. By the time I see the move, I am at the peak and end to force the trading on the top (losing). 2) to find something that is real-time AND allows pre-market trading (since I saw the most of movements occur 7-10:30). All this before I can build a minimal knowledge to effort your course after the summer (where my job is taking a lot of time I can't dedicate to something that has expenses per month)
You don't need much, you just need to avoid getting burned. I'm just getting scorched so far this week. As soon as I think about a stock, it digs it's own grave. I could see something hot, and then as soon as I buy in there it goes the other way. Not even a subtle dip either, just all out.

My career will only get us so far until retirement. Learning to do this NOW, will establish the foundation to learn something new and hopefully lucrative for the next 20-30 years.
I've started with £20. If I can get it up to £100 then I know I'm ready to make this a serious source of income. Also most of my money is accounted for and I cannot justify adding more. Starting with £100 is too much for me, nevermind £5000 or more.

I am a big fan of you. I am just starting, so stupid question, is it possible, if I am in Austria, to open account with US broker, or I have to be stuck with international one. Thanks for answer
Some US brokers also operate outside of the US as well for that reason.. You can search some of the main commission free brokers to see if they allow residents outside of the USA
Do the 2 week trial. The information from the classes and the community is so great. Trade in the SIM for multiple months. I would have lost so much money making stupid mistakes if I wasn't trading in a SIM. The community on Warrior Trading is the best and has helped me to understand so much.
3:45 to remove ambiguity a PDT is 3 or more round trip trades in a 5 day period (round trip trade being the opening and closing of a trade on the SAME trading session)
The PDT rule applies to accounts that execute 4 or more day trades within five business days. So you can only do 3 or less within a 5 business day period.
This also only applies to margin accounts. You can make as many cash trades as you want as long as you have enough in settled cash to cover the purchase
I've also come to a realization. I've noticed that in most cases, the best times to get into trades are between 4 and 7 eastern time. My guess is the big money people trade during this time, allow some movement during the 7-9:30 time, but then spend the rest of the day pushing the market to a lower range, just high enough to keep the stocks at the top of the scanners.
Most brokers don't allow 4-7, which is why you always see that spike at 7am. 4-7 there is low liquidity and big spreads because not that many folks can trade. Also hard to size up during that time. But yea, by 9:30, most of these top volumn/gainers are all done with, and they fizzle out. All the retail traders have moved on.
Your videos are so detailed. Thank you. I spent the first 12 months educating and doing SIM simultaneously. Then I tried 2 times the Prop firm to secure a 100k account, but I failed. It was a great experience in which one needs to understand the difference between sim and real accounts. Now I continue education to remove my errors and increase my patience by using sim account again. Your videos already helped a LOT in understanding the technical analysis better and noticing the right moment to enter the trade. Many thanks.

I'm a little confused on two points: 1) So in a cash account, you can buy your shares AND sell your shares in one day OR you can buy shares then you have to wait a day to sell them? 2) The $2500 you are suggesting starting with, I thought you were suggesting that for a cash account because it's already 5x leverage the 500 you started with. But then you talked about it's good to start with $2500 in the offshore account. So are you saying it's good for both?
Hi, in a cash account you can buy and sell but you can’t buy back until the next day. I think offshore really only good for a trader with a lot of experience and ready to maximize on the tool cause it’s more expensive
An other strategy i think ,is to have two or three brokers accounts, in my experience with webull was to trade every other day ,i had traded all my money Monday and by Wednesday morning it was settled and ready to day trade
I’m new to this, been watching all Ross’s videos the last few months. Do all his teachings apply to the futures market as well? I work during normal hours.
Such a great class. It so makes me wish you would make your simulator free to beginners. It'd be an easy transition for those of us once we get better, to want to bump over to your platform rather than training on the other free ones.
I’d say as a rule of thumb with using an offshore broker is to prove to yourself that you can make at least $1000/mo. Do it in the sim with share size that you’d be able to afford based on your actual buying power. Around 1000 shares if you’re starting with a $3000 starting balance. This will cover commissions and fees so you don’t bleed the account. If you’re a break even trader, keep practicing in the sim or with small share size with a cash account.
Very helpful video and website Russ. Question: What is your take on brokers who offer fractional shares and practicality of using that while growing your account? also, would you have any names in mind of brokers that do offer this? i realize that not all brokers offer FS
That is not something has experience with or would recommend. We have a blog post that touches on how much is needed to get started trading. You can read it here: www.warriortrading.com/day-trading-for-a-living/ Here are some recent videos on this topic as well: th-cam.com/video/GsTPr05KjrA/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/PtFKChlL7wE/w-d-xo.html
Whenever you get to play with their money, it's worth it to pay the fees required, especially when the broker allows a relaxed entry level that will allow you to learn and grow. Remember, it takes money to make money!
What’s confusing is how did you start with $583 but then you went on and said you funded your account with 3-4k and then you put 25k to day trade.. did I miss something ?
@@trulosdoulos6849 an offset . Buy at bid plus or minus .05 or whatever you set your offset at. And yes if it tanks you'd want to quickly cancel sell at ask and probably sell on bid or at market
Hey Ross, I’ve gotten used to trend trading small caps with Webull using a small account since I can set limit orders on the chart and the fees are cheap. Do you or others know if this will be problematic when I get to a 25k margin account when using $2,500 per trade?
Hey yes! you can check the 2 week trial it includes Live stream trading with me, scanner alerts, member chatroom, news alerts and customizable charting ! www.warriortrading.com/pro-preview-trial/
What if I have $30,000 in a leveraged account? I would only trade up to $25,000 or $30,000 or what ever cash I have, not using the margine( the credit ), is this ok?
Are there any downsides to starting with a $25k margin account and treating it as a for example $500 account? Yiu aren't forced to trade all of it. Does IB or whoever the margin account is through charge you money if you aren't using leverage or a certain % of full account?
I have been watching a lot of your videos. And I was wondering if I could apply your strategy to bigger companies with less volume. Making at least 2% a day
I'd look into learning micros and minis for trading bigger companies. Usually rosses strategies work with small caps with lower floats and higher momentum

Very grateful for Ross Cameron 🙏
I’m new to this, been watching all Ross’s videos the last few months. Do all his teachings apply to the futures market as well? I work during normal hours.
hey Ross! So if i have $1800 to start my account lets say! What would i be able to trade with no leverage? Penny stocks?
Something worth noting is that a cash account can slow you down if you have a tendency to overtrade. Something to consider.
You can read it here: www.warriortrading.com/day-trading-for-a-living/
Here are some recent videos on this topic as well:

Whenever you get to play with their money, it's worth it to pay the fees required, especially when the broker allows a relaxed entry level that will allow you to learn and grow. Remember, it takes money to make money!
What about the free riding rule and cash account?
You the man Ross! You ever use Tick charts or strictly 1 minute?
Would it be possible if you can tell us the name of the offshore brokerage you used during that period ?
i Just quit trading is really hard to be green for more than a week, from there to earn money, is almost impossible.
would mind sharing with us the names for those offshore brokerage?
What’s confusing is how did you start with $583 but then you went on and said you funded your account with 3-4k and then you put 25k to day trade.. did I miss something ?
What kind of orders is Ross using? Buy Ask or Market? Sell Bid or Market? What is best and why?
Usually buy ask sell ask with small offsets
@@Johnc812 So if you sell ask, you have the chance of not getting filled, yes? and what is an offset?
@@trulosdoulos6849 an offset . Buy at bid plus or minus .05 or whatever you set your offset at. And yes if it tanks you'd want to quickly cancel sell at ask and probably sell on bid or at market
Could you use multiple platforms to increase trade# without triggering PDT rule? TorS, Webull, Robinhood for example?
Hey Ross, I’ve gotten used to trend trading small caps with Webull using a small account since I can set limit orders on the chart and the fees are cheap. Do you or others know if this will be problematic when I get to a 25k margin account when using $2,500 per trade?
Hey Ross
Denmark here 😃 Can I use your classes over here ??
Thanks Thomas
Hey yes! you can check the 2 week trial it includes Live stream trading with me, scanner alerts, member chatroom, news alerts and customizable charting ! www.warriortrading.com/pro-preview-trial/
Now that cash accounts settle in 1 day, does the "3 trades in a 5 day period" still apply if you're under $25K?
Yeah PDT still applies for margin accounts
What if I have $30,000 in a leveraged account? I would only trade up to $25,000 or $30,000 or what ever cash I have, not using the margine( the credit ), is this ok?
Dear day trade warrior tell me about option trading please pretty please Ross
In the vid he says he would put a list of international brokers who accept US traders. I don't see it listed anywhere. Did I miss it?
Are there any downsides to starting with a $25k margin account and treating it as a for example $500 account? Yiu aren't forced to trade all of it. Does IB or whoever the margin account is through charge you money if you aren't using leverage or a certain % of full account?
Being above pdt can help a lot, nothing wrong with trading with smaller risk above that level as you gain confidence.
Where is the link to the various brokers? I am not seeing it.
Thank you for the reminder here it is www.warriortrading.com/best-online-stock-brokers/
@@DaytradeWarrior thanks Ross. I appreciate your investment in teaching us techniques.
@@DaytradeWarrior Thank you, Ross! You are amazing I just can't afford $197.00 a mouth is there a cheaper option?
Where is the link to offshore brokers?
I have been watching a lot of your videos. And I was wondering if I could apply your strategy to bigger companies with less volume. Making at least 2% a day
It’s trading against a computer. You will most likely lose
I'd look into learning micros and minis for trading bigger companies. Usually rosses strategies work with small caps with lower floats and higher momentum
Do people just watch you real time and copy exactly what you do? Wouldn't that work?
Thoughts on prop brokers like "Trade the Pool?"
Did you use the leverage when you started your small acct back in 2017?
Are all platforms going with the 1 day to clear(overnight) for cash accounts...?....or is that just T or S...? (Thinking about IBKR)
Thanks
It's most likely all brokers, however, we recommend checking with the broker you plan to use to make sure.
@@DaytradeWarrior i'm trying to find it on their site - it's almost like they don't want ya to know.......(could just be my suspicious mind thinking that way.. :)
Doesn't 1 equal 100 in trading? Or, is that just in position trading.
Ross , how can I ask questions to you directly? What do I have to pay . These last few days have been a nightmare after a great month.
Yea everyday not gonna be an easy day last week was am easy week everything blew up . This week is more af a disciplined week gotta be quick to exit when things go south.
@@Johnc812 That’s been an issue as well , holding trades when things go against me expecting a bounce.
