Transform Element is really coming into their own. They’re becoming a major player IMO, along with their sister company DS.
I’ve had this guy since he came out and I absolutely love the look in both modes. He also looks better then the FT version that’s coming out. Who poses their figures weird stances. If your interested in this guy I want to let you know that mine came with no leg issues.
He has two ab crunches that lock very tightly.

that's a very pretty Mirage, quite the toon accurate build. there's a lot going on with those legs in transforming, but other than the QC with the hips doesn't seem that bad

I love the OM one but it always felt fiddly and I never could quite get it to the pose I wanted.
Most of the time, I don’t mind having no autobadge/deceptibadge on third-party figures, but Sunsurge and This guy missing their badges bug the slag out of me!
Well, now I have to order this. He just looks better with the new super toon look. Ocular Max can move to the toy accurate shelf. Ha ha

It’s is very tight and seems like you can’t but you can pry the half’s of the head apart. I thought the same thing but I was able do it and change the face.
BUT I had a hard time putting the two half’s back together completely with no gap. Close enough but yea it can be down just very tight
I was able to separate the halves of the spare head (w/o screw) by prying an xacto knife at the side. It's not glued, the posts inside are just a bit tight so I sanded them so that I could easily pry them open if I want to swap the face. Hope this helps

What precision screw drivers do you recommend?
Hes great, just a little floppy, looks amazing and the materials feel great quality. Really is the best mirage by a long shot
Also the alternate head is the one you swap faces on, that splits very easy. Plus if you fold in the back pack flaps, it gives you alot more waist swivel. One more thing 😂 it has two rather large ab crunches, but they clip in very well.
The fact that this is only $70AUSD makes me more convinced that FT is price gouging. Having to pay $400AUSD for Astrotrain is killing me.
Thats is overpriced! i bought mine quite recently, about 2 months ago for $250USD complete. Got some customs duties too but totally worth it
@@zilvertron noice, yeh $250US for Astrochain I would get behind. I prob would have thought even that was overpriced until I received my FT Soundwave couple days back ... Pretty damned impressed. I'll wait for a restock I guess. But, Showz has Astrochain as "sold out", but priced at $320US. Kinda worried it's a new price standard.
@@jlim003 Probably is, and its a question of timing. I had luck as i had scoured the inter web for a long time before i finally found a price for Thomas i was willing to pay. Thought for sure i was gonna miss out on it considering its a fanstoys figure, but my patience paid off, But with Soundwave i think ill wait for a possible ver 2 as long as i can, dont like to have too many tapes that wont fit in the same figure.
I paid $380 US so I feel you man lmao that FT aftermarket is fucked, got acoustic wave for very fair $220 though so can’t complain with him
@@dustyyshellz1320 Yeh, the more FT figures I've got, the more accepting I am of their retail INITIAL pricing. They really are a step above the others... But, aftermarket and their re-issue pricing is messed up. That's why Quietus is getting KO'd.

I like it more than I did, maybe…
I really enjoy how you cover MP. I like this figure a lot. The only thing that keeps me from putting on the level as Takara is the lack of up/down wrist articulation and shoulder butterfly. Other than that, it is an awesome figure.
