Barbara : "I don't think you can sell"
Pitcher : "Yeah we on track to do 7 million in sales" 😂😂
And for that reason I'm out.
🤣🤣
Entrepreneurs: "We made over $2,000,000 in sales during our first year."
Barbara: "Terrible salesmans, I'm out."

I passively hate Barbara for being senseless in most times but she crossed a line on this one. Not only is it absolutely senseless, it was also insensitive and tone-deaf to what they were trying to do. I know actively hate her.

Honestly, I hate that part. It seems so fake
Mark seems like a genuine guy. He always calls people sir or ma’am when they hand things to him.
@@weemeemoo why do you think its fake? Cant imagine he actually has sympathy for people especially ones that make their firt business?
Haha so true.
Found the cringe Mark comment.
“My lungs got destroyed, I started coughing a lot….”
Barbara: “I’m OUT”
"My lungs got destroyed...."
Kevin: Ok, let's talk about sales.
Good on her, its the shark tank not the “who got the most sad story” … was just fishing for sympathy 🥱
Lmaoo
@@emmarosie7176 They weren’t fishing for sympathy, she literally stopped them and asked about their backgrounds 😂
"Just like the amount of air in your lungs, I'm out"
Sorry Barbara, I thought they were excellent sellers. The story of the blackhawk pilot and the fact they focused on trying to change something they see wrong with the world showed me how excellent sellers they are. Yes, they werent in your face clowns like a lot of these people we see. But I saw respect and genuine focus to make a difference with their item.
Yeah it takes alot of courage to go through all that
Barbara just invests in.50k to 250k deals. Anything over that she decides from the start I ain't investing and goes out trying to demotivate the enterpreneur(not even constructive criticism like Kevin )

Both Kevin and Lori disliked Barbara's comment and were happy at the entrepreneurs' answer. Good to see their support.
Maybe the guy can't 'sell hard' cuz his lungs are pretty much dying and he's probably exhausted from just getting enough air in them to talk! His story was truly heartbreaking but also inspirational. Jon Stewart made a really impassioned speech about how congress tried to block a vet health bill meant to help vets who were exposed to burn pits in Iraq. Messed up stuff. Hope their company succeeds!
Hope it succeeds? It already did

Whoever edited this episode must of done a bad job. All the sharks seem super aggressive, did they miss some of the comments they made? This episode seemed super off.
It sure did seem OFF. It didnt flow the usual way, of jokes/laughter, Mr Wonderful and his royalty deals, Barbara and Mark fighting....it was flat in the editing and presentation.
And background music is all I can hear
Maybe the usual editor is on vacation... And his replacement is below average....
My thoughts were that perhaps these guys were one of the last few pitches after having to sit for long hours. Perhaps everyone was very exhausted and done with the day. Or there might have been a heated discussion earlier on the day to set off the moods.. Idk.
Agreed! The sharks reaction doesn’t make sense the way they edited
Barbara’s problem is she doesn’t understand scientific terms. She was impressed with their demo, but the moment they started talking about the primary ingredient - sodium sulphate, everything bounced over her head and she disliked them. So she had to come up with whatever excuse to go out 😂😂
Edit: you can see her consistent behavior over and over again throughout many videos. The moment her brain doesn’t comprehend something about the product, no matter how great the product and sales are, she comes up with the lamest excuses to go out.
Very true
Whoa that’s accurate
She does that to the over excited & overly hyper 1's to tho 😐
She should be replaced. She’s ruining Shark Tank.
Over time you realize entrepreneurs aren't even bothered by her opting out. Neither is her advice (or should I say opinion) keenly treated.
Mark always have a very genuine pin pointer at every product, be it he's interested or not
This episode felt weird… like, the guys seems so trustworthy, inspirational, and they want to ACTUALLY change the world, and the sharks just said “this is not for me” are u kidding me???? I just hope they succeed with Daniel!!! And also the editing left out the most important parts like the cost and price, but anyways. I would definitely buy their product! ❤️
Investing isn’t about changing the world, it’s about sales. And they don’t own the patent on this product. Their path WILL come to a bitter end the second they lose permission to use that patent. No investor with a brain would touch that situation. Who cares about changing the world when your path forward as a business has an enormous and likely insurmountable road block? Some of you are so focused on “changing the world” that you can’t understand the realities of business.
@@Johnfisher12345 Right? i want to be rich not change the world lol. Maybe if i became a multimillionaire ill think about it then.
@@Johnfisher12345 Lol this is so shortsighted and you've also fundamentally misunderstood the incentive the patent holder has to renew. Why would the patent owner not renew when they're making a royalty on every sale and they're selling a bucketloads, it's literally free money for them. The patent holder isn't in this space, doesn't need to burn capital trying to start a business in this space and has every incentive to renew and keep the dollar rolling in. If anything, that is an excellent business decision, if you look at it from their point of view.
@@Johnfisher12345 valid is about the money mha boi
The patent holder can EASILY get in this game and make the product themselves and make 100% of the profit instead of just a royalty. They let these guys test out the market for them at no risk to themselves. If they prove that the product is marketable and profitable, they’ll just kick them to the curb and make it themselves. That’s how business works. Don’t delude yourself.
This is prime example of barbara doesn't know what she's talking about 😂
Or she doesn't like to know
@You Too tbh, sharks don't discriminate especially if those sharks are businessmen. Their emotion shouldn't go over their head in making deals like this. No doubt the reason why Barbara is the least successful of the sharks. Lol
could of cleaned up some profit on that 7 million in sales is that bad ?
Had to be scripted

I’ve been using Sheets for the past year or so and won’t go back to liquid or pod detergents. This stuff is amazing and leaves my laundry so soft! I have sensitive skin and don’t get irritated by it, either. Truly a remarkable product and I hope they continue to do well.

Barbara once again being on a completely different planet than the rest of the room
The female Biden
Daniel was right. They don't need salesmanship when they possess mastery of digital savviness. Ultimately, it's all about the numbers.
I’m shocked Barbara felt that way. This is the one of the few products pitched that I have actually sold me. They were very straightforward, love the background story, these guys came off very honest and genuine. Every pitch I watch on Shark Tank, I just enjoy it for the entertainment, it’s fun, but I don’t typically feel inclined to be a consumer.
I always love seeing Mark's face when the entrepreneurs deliver strong sales numbers. That always means they're going to get a deal.
They made $2 mil and they're bad salesmen? I feel like the whole pitch was extremely straight forward. The pilot Chris was affected by burning plastic and he wanted to help stop the use of plastic. And he did.
He has made no meaningful impact on the plastic market, nor will he. Plastics are here to stay. When people start giving them up, they see why they didn’t want to give them up in the first place. Plus, the primary alternative - paper - means deforestation, which greenies also hate, so trust me, you won’t win this game. This anti plastic fad we’re in now won’t last. Plastic and paper products are here to stay.
Didn't realize that presenting with professionalism meant no hunger and drive lol
barbara: the product is great, you have amazing sales, great margins and everything i love about a deal. i love the product, i love you BUT it’s monday so for that reason i’m out
Lol 😆 😆
Frankly she was upset running into guys with lower energy than herself doing that presentation.. Fact is she uses the platform to get 'out' once a while. lmao
These are getting less and less funny as time goes.
They were all out tbh (except for Daniel)

Exactly. Just after going at them. I think she was just in a bad mood and took it to work.

This is the first time I have actually wanted to purchase the product being shown.
We need people like this.. but more importantly we need people to support their product...
we do... we love it
It’s a niche product for a niche market, with a finite life due to the patent issue. They will never compete with the big laundry detergent brands, because most people don’t want this product. A few do, and that’s fine. Just be realistic and understand that it’s a niche market.
Have you bought one?
@@limyize would love to but they dont ship to Australia..
@@Johnfisher12345 it’s not because people don’t want it, it’s because all the big brand named detergents are easily available to the majority of consumers. People will get what’s easily available to them. And there are more options with liquid detergents. It’s clear from their numbers that there is a decent market for them. You can’t deny it’s a good product, it’s convenient and less of a hassle. At the right price next to liquid detergents in stores; it definitely has a chance. But obviously the patent is the biggest issue with it, unfortunately.
Blackhawk pilot.... not aggressive enough... lol. Barbara comes up with a new interesting excuse not to invest. $500,000.... she was out, but no reason to spite these two.
Plot twist: Barbara is struggling financially so she can’t afford to make many offers. And for that reason she’s out.

In the hundreds of clips I've seen, Barbara has never made any compelling argument. How she got her $ is beyond me.
Pretty sure from what I seen in a video or article comparing the sharks networths she was the lowest with $100 million
She got lucky with some heavy real estate investment
Barbara is a one hit wonder! sorry but she is a sore looser .
Barbara again makes herself look like a fool. “I have a good sense of people and you guys can’t sell.” “We just sold $7 Mil of product in a year.”
With or without sharks these guys gonna make the world understand how much plastic does bad to ourselves. I wish them all success.

In Barbara’s defense, we are watching a 10 minute clip and Mark stated in an interview a good pitch usually last around 40 minutes but is edited down for TV. A lot of things we could have missed that these guys said to Barbara and she said back.
Every time Mark hears expansion beyond North America he’s quick to opt out
“Im not a pound the payment kinda guy, I’m a marketing guy”

I love Daniels “deal in disguise “ when he said 500k for 8% and 2% advisories share. 😂
I'm surprised Lori didn't just make an offer she liked. It wouldn't be the first time.
I think shark tank has rules they have to match initial offers.
Let me get this straight:
1 Product : You are a product and not a Company
30 Products : You have too many SKUs
The fact Barbara just said that (you know why I’m talking about) to a Blackhawk pilot who flew in Iraq, is very entertaining 😂
And you can tel he’s a pilot cause his rebuttal was civil… infantry NCO probably would’ve been ticked lmao
Just responded to her wishy-washy BS with a straight fact.
I was surprised to see the negative headline because my wife has a subscription to Sheets Laundry Club. It's the only laundry detergent she uses. They must be doing something right.
"I see this as something having great potential and your sales are extraordinary. I couldn't care less though about environmental issues. I'm interested in money. Sure, you'd be making a difference in the world but surpassing my success? I'm not having that so for those reasons, I'm out." - Barbara
Bro, the army guy's story is awesome. Doesnt feel forced or fake, it feels like a genuine story. "Plastic ruined my life, I did research, its ruining the lives of others and destroying our planet, i wanted to do something about it". Great story
Barbara is a feeling over facts person 😂😂
So they are on track to 7M of revenue this year and $10M valuation is somehow high for Laurie? Sharks are Sharks for a reason. Absolutely justified valuation by any standards.
Barbara: wait wait wait! I’m out.
"I was shocked by the way other countries dispose of (our) plastic."

"The way other countries dispose plastic" lmao he can't be serious

He’s not wrong because a lot of western countries send their plastics to other countries for disposal
These guys made me like their product and I'm going to buy a bunch and save a ton of money on watered down laundry detergent, and possibly fabric softener too.
Buy their product all you want, but save money you will NOT.
@@Johnfisher12345 Oh I will. I don't live in North America where laundry detergent is cheap. Laundry detergent where I am is double the price and it's watered down and you need a lot more than what it says on the bottle. If you want better quality then you can pay up to triple the price of what detergent costs in North America and about 5 to 10 EUR more for what they charge.
If you buy their biggest bulk pack (360 loads) you get one sheet for 20 EUR cents. Plus you may not need fabric softener which cuts out that cost entirely.
Contestants: "Hello, we are ..."
Barbara: "I'm out."
In Canada we have a brand called TruEarth which is the same thing so this isn’t revolutionary.
Plastic warning: these sheets and similar ones have micro-plastics that take certain bacteria (that isn't everywhere) to break down. I'm switching to Nut Soap.
One of the biggest missed opportunities I've ever seen. Daniel struck gold with this one I feel.
To make this episode worse the sharks followed up their rudeness to these noble souls with complete gushing over two home wreckers who ripped off paint by numbers
Barbara is a well minded person
I’m a subscriber and am totally satisfied. Their laundry sheets and dryer sheets are the real deal.
Lol. Barbara just embarrassed herself when they said the sales numbers
Barbara: before I go with my default “I’m out” response, let me insult you.
I love Barbara, but I do not agree with this at all. They have had so much more stupid insane pitches than this! CEO is a hero, and I appreciate him and his business partner for creating this. Limit the amount of products you have.
I have been using Earth Breeze and there are so many in this space .. never heard of these guys though.. but wish them all the best
I use these. Not bc I saw this episode but bc I wanted a more sustainable solution for laundry- for both the chemical and the plastic concerns. They're great. I recommend
This is probably the only product i’ve seen on shark tank so far that i absolutely love and think will do excellent. I can’t believe so many sharks didn’t want to invest.

This episode showed glimpses of the old shark tank when they were all rude snobs ……. Seems like a good biz with good sales
This product is actually amazing, outside of the patent there's no reason to not make a deal here
Best part is how bad all the sharks are at literally just shaking a water bottle.
Beautiful response to Barbara’s insult
For God's sake, someone tell the producers to replace Barbara!!!!!!!!!!
Daniel even said to her in one of the recent segments, "Barbara why are you on Shark Tank?"
That " Congratulations guys well done " by mark always gets me 😂
10% was very reasonable I don't know why they set ceiling at 8%. I would've asked for even 25% considering all sharks are out. It's a financial risk tbh if their patent ends at 2024
Because you missed that 24% is their profit
Truly appreciate people like this..truly truly inspirational. Yes they are making a difference.
Lol it’s funny to me that people always bring up their struggles and problems and that’s what usually get them the deal (not just their sales and business accomplishments).
Well realistically, you can’t eliminate plastic. Historically plastic saved the planet but yeah you can reduce the unnecessary ones for sure
Thank you for the entertainment, Barbara! 🤣
barbs more focused are on his sales pitch but not the fact hes actually tryna make a difference in the world and keep the earth healthy hes not money hungry which is a good thing bc hes already making enough he doesnt have to be
Did they not mention the retail price? I'd sure like to know how that box of 10 sheets stacks up against my 72 ounce jug of Tide.
its cheaper... works as well... and is way easier to store and ships free ♤
That’s not an answer. How much does it cost PER LOAD? That’s the only answer that matters. My 208oz jug of Tide lasts me months and costs like $18 on sale at Costco. How much would I spend on sheets to wash an equivalent amount as that jug?
@@Johnfisher12345 I found the Amazon listing, and it raised more questions than it answers. The package says 50 sheets for "up to 100 loads", and further down on the page insists that there's no measuring, you just use a sheet. HOW?
It's ~$15 for 50 sheets, 50 loads from Tide s ~$11, but 100 is ~$25 (I find it interesting that the largest size is NOT the most economical). I guess that means these are competitive... maybe. It's somewhere between 50% more expensive, or 40% less expensive.
The question is, how many sheets do you have to actually use in the real world? Because even with Tide, the recommended amount of detergent per load only applies for those who wear lightweight dress clothes who work in air conditioned offices and never actually get their clothes dirty.
shark tank comments: 99% barbara 1% actual product debate.
LOL, you don't get to talk about harmful chemicals when your products' main chemical is SLS.
SLS?
sls is pretty safe for laundry. it's not the best for skin or hair but more than fine for sheets

barbara is a personality buyer, she buys that more than the product, these guys have good product so don't need the crazy enthusiasm
Why wouldn’t the sharks do the deal? They just told them they have 3m in revenue and profit ratio is 25%. ROI in three years max and that is not even counting the increase in sales as a result of the surge; I don’t get it
The patent was expiring in 2 years. Could be risky
Bingo. The patent issue was an absolute killer. I have no idea why Daniel invested, he’s in for a HARD battle with that one.
