Loud Fire Alarms Wake Up Hotel at

- The fire alarms started screaming just before 6:00 AM right as I was about to leave for my work day. I walked down to the lobby to try and gain a better understanding of the situation. The fire alarms turned off after about four minutes and I couldn't find any information on the annunciator located in the lobby. I don't know what set them off but it was likely a false alarm considering the fire department never showed up. Thank you for watching! Subscribe to learn more about these cool systems!

My biggest fear when I stay in a hotel. I go to bed hoping the fire alarm doesn't go off while I'm sleeping. Luckily, it has never happened to me
I had it happen to me once. I was staying at a hotel in virgina beach back in 2018. It was like 2:30AM and some punk kid pulled the fire alarm. I was mad and cranky as hell

Once that happened to me at my house when i was like 11, the smoke detectors kept going off at like 2 am and it was soo loud, ever since then occasionaly i will think about it and hope it doesn't happen again. When i think about it its like really hard to sleep lol

Interesting. My school had one to a defective panel. Whole school got sent out, firefighters arrived and it was established to be an all clear. Very unusual day, but very fun. Nice video, Grant.
This happend to my school a lot last year of the alarm going off at random time not a drill it just going off
@thegaychip123 That happened once in my freshman year of high school. Apparently, something was happening with one of the detectors, and it made the fire alarm go off about six times in a row. The problem was eventually fixed, but I still thought it was pretty weird.

Fire Alarm Fun Time! When I was in middle / high school, fire drills got jokingly dubbed impromptu 10 minute break from school alarms. Although noisy, those devices have saved many lives.

Reminds me of the time the fire alarms went off at the Great Wolf Lodge I was staying at back in late 2016. Me and my family were woken up at 8:00 in the morning by the alarms. It was an EST system with Genesis remote strobes in the hotel rooms along with sounder bases on the smoke detectors. The hallways had Genesis horn/strobes and the indoor water park had Integrity horn/strobes. It was really loud! It turned out to be a false alarm luckily. apparently somebody brought their own toaster and burnt some toast in their room, resulting in the smoke detector tripping and waking up the entire hotel.
Interesting… the one in Washington State has the same alarms, but all of them are the speaker strobe versions.
Never heard that system go off, thankfully, but I have been in another hotel where they did. That would’ve been a Westin in downtown Vancouver B.C. Canada. Alarms were Simplex LifeAlarm speakers in the hallways playing a really wimpy (in my opinion) fake bell tone. System was actually Edwards, but previously Simplex so some devices were kept. No alarms were in the rooms, so we barely woke up!!!

I remember waking up to a Wheelock As in the morning,in the Halls and in the rooms. That was loud!!!! All because of a Sprinkler Pipe burst in of all places the stairwell. What were the alarms in the rooms of this Hotel? Cool Video!!!

i woke up from my house smoke alarm today... but im glad i knew someone did seem to have burned something upstairs.
My church has those same alarms. Never heard them because there was never a fire or drill.

Yep! There were a couple of L-Series alarms in the pool area.
Why were those L-series where used in the Pool area not The Spectealert Classic alarm like the rest of the Hotel and Those L-Series are red or white and are wall mount or Ceiling Mount?@@SERSafety

And those L- series are on which volume they are red or white they are horns/horn strobes? and are they wall mount ceiling mount or both 1 wall mount and 1 ceiling mount?
This reminds me when they went off at a hotel at like 5:30 in the morning and after that we had to evac because a water main broke. 😬
Fortunately if the breakfast is served at six am and you can't get back to sleep after the incident is over

@bernesedog4683 That’s exactly what used to happen every night, or almost every night in the previous apartment I lived in for just a couple months shy of a year, because it was very problematic and no one seemed to be doing anything to address the situation.
It actually was somewhat better because I only had to deal with it one time, also in the middle of the night, when my grandparents and I went to visit a friend down in Florida and they would take me to Disney and Universal doing this one week off from school I had about a decade or two ago.

Yesterday, they we're filming a scene for Netflix here in St. Johns. They used a generator to power the set and the smoke coming from the generator set of the fire alarm. At 9:20 in the morning. I rushed downstairs merely a shirt and one layer of pants on. It was -3 degrees. Celcius. (I'm currently staying in an AirBnB to clear up some things.)

the good System Sensor REALLY LOUD alarms
No System sensor alarms whether loud or not depends on volume settings of the alarm and the loudest alarm is Not System Sensor Spectealert Advance it's SImplex 4050 and 4051 with 4051 being in the first place and 4050 being in second place
This happened in a hotel i was in as well back in 2015 and the alarms i heard were 4903’s on continous

sounds like their system isn't syncronized.
It is synchronized, the out of sync horns happens in the stairwell due to the stairwell echo making it sound like it's out of sync
@@joeycaridi3030This system is not fully synchronized as Spectealert classic and Either Spectealert Advance or an L-series sound off sync and in the stairwell alarms are not fully in sync

I had this but at 4am once. It wasn't nice. The alarms in question were Roshnis set to high volume basic sweep

The main sort of common space on my college campus has these alarms. I have not heard them though. The ones in question are the fixed 110 candela horn strobes in red, (yes, even in the bathrooms because the installers were likely cheap and just bought all the same thing. Probably a 15 or 30 candela remote strobe is enough for a bathroom.) They are the slightly newer version with the release tab on top instead of the screw. I think the model of them is probably p24110, but I could be way off. Not heard them sounding, but I know that some,of them have broken in the past, because there’s a SpectrAlert Advance P2R in a stairway and a L-series P2RL in one of the vendors in the food court. The system is some sort of FCI system with MS2 pulls. One of the many SpectrAlert classic series horn strobes features the FCI logo on the mounting plate, but only one for some reason!

Spectealert classics are not the loudest fire alarms out there Simplex 4050 and 4051 are the loudest

Maybe someone did a problem with cooking and got it burnt, this is (common) so I would say this is upsetting, make sure you get your money back to aswell (full refund)
