i'm guessing thats why they only have two on each floor of our 3 story building. I did hear them talking in the hallway afterwards they we're saying the one by our house isn't reading as loud as they'd like it. However they never returned to replace it so im taking it as it's still a good functional fire alarms. I mean at the end of the day as long as it goes off in a emergency thats all that matters.
@@DeshanersTV there is genesis horns strobe though but I’m going for the simplex truealert speaker strobes 4903 series and such including genesis and integrity ones with voice evac. So you got the non voice evac did you?
@@josephfrye7342 That awesome when we were living in our house i thought about putting these in our house. However by that time we had to move. My choice of horns would be the Simplex 4040 & 4050 reason is they we're loud and brings back my old public school days because that was the horn they we're using.
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554Nods thats exactly why they dont have 3 alarms and only 2 because the way the building is built. Also the exterior of the building is made of wood so there's that too.
Fun fact when i was younger my family and i lived in a 9 story building and to make a long story short our intercoms weren't working in any of the units so they took them and put fire alarms in them and those we're way worse then these ones.
Nah not that scary they we're just testing them to make sure they work. Now do i wish they tested them more like they should sure. Technically they should be tested at least minimum of twice a year. Only concerning issue is the fire alarm by our apartment isn't as loud as they'd like it to be.
Eh... TrueAlerts aren't quite as loud as, say, the shrill piezoelectric horns nowadays, or even the blaring electromechanical AC horns of yore. But all the same, they can definitely catch you unawares!
Simplex TrueAlerts. These are very loud

@@DeshanersTVIt may be because it's an old building and it may be that the devices are a little more spaced out
