DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OFF-GRID AND SELF SUFFICIENT HOMESTEADING
Definition of "Off-Grid": Off-the-grid or off-grid is a characteristic of buildings and a lifestyle designed in an independent manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. The term "off-the-grid" traditionally refers to not being connected to the electrical grid, but can also include other utilities like water, gas, and sewer systems, and can scale from residential homes to small communities.
Self-sufficient means needing no outside help in satisfying one's basic needs, especially about the production of food, and homesteading means living a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. So by those definitions, the key to homesteading is learning to be self-sufficient.

Hey B. Diggin the new setup. 👍 Super glad to see Sierra doing ok. My Aussie Shepherd “Buddy” is everything to me so I totally get it. A good man with a great dog and big mountains = a damn good day. Prayers for you both. I’m building out my Ram 2500 right now, and am darn close to being “finished”. (There no such thing... but you get the idea. Lol.)

Howdy Brian. I was late arriving to Crestone. Darn it. I will be heading to Arizona as soon as Bandit, my puppy is big enough. Bandit was awesome on the trip to see you and Phill. I like the bumper. I Cary 2 of the 6 pound Worthington propane bottles and sometimes add a 10. Thanks for the info on the bumper. Let us know if you will have another meet up. I’ll come say hi. I really want you to see my cab build. Extremely comfy. Take care Brian and enjoy the warm weather. I’ll be freezing my A off here for a few days.

Hey there Brian. Good show today. I really love your new rear bumper setup. Everything is right there where you need it. Vast improvement over what you had before. I am considering getting plates from S. Dakota as well. Does S. Dakota require safety inspections? Take care my friend. Vaughn

I wonder about that weight of all of that on the swing out knuckle? I've asked manufacturers here in Australia about making one like this as what you have is what I want for my car. They reckon the weight is too much for one swing out.

Still working good and I'm very pleased with it. The only thing that needs to be replaced is the tiny spring mechanism in the latch which I plan to replace in about a week. Overall, this is a great bumper. Very well built and durable.

Hello my name is Maxwell I have a 22R SR5 82 Toyota pickup and I'm building it similar style to you recently I've had this option and it's been kind of waiting on my choices for how is weather going to go I could live in the camper which I know pretty well and have for a while and manage you know my room spacious but I mean I've recently acquired and a lot of gear for my winter expeditions but I have an option to put a midsize half-size cabover camper on my truck I'm just wondering would you suggest any thing for this or should I do it I mean you ought to know man it's going to be 5 years or more right. For you well I'm in the Cascades Sierra Valley and I'm around that general area between Tahoe and the Plumas is right in the middle that's what I like to Camp what's the coldest spot in California during the winter and I don't think I don't know if I should make their move ? hey be cool to get outside basis with you all right get a hold of me I'm looking forward to making meeting up sometime having a campout have a good night
