I think a Disney movie was filmed at the clay cliffs. Also the Battle of the Pelennor Fields in LOTR was filmed at Twizel. Hopefully you tried the High Country Salmon just south of Twizel too. If not, stop there next time. Raw salmon fresh out of the ice cold glacial water...😮👌🐠
I did not try the country salmon there but it did look to be a hit! We were reading up about it before we went to the airport but I’ll have to try next time through!! Cheers 😃🍻

Lived in the village there for a few years as a kid in the early 2000's, was such a cool place to live
