she passed Dec. 19th 2022. The memorial service to her was aired in March of this year@@ledrabrillson970
Well you may have thought Sonya Eddy died this year because GH constantly brings her characters’ name up on the show and the paid tribute to her in 2023 with a special episode of her passing. It’s too bad GH does not pay tribute to all the actors / actresses that pass away. Some may say Billy and Tyler where no longer on the show, but they were very important, central characters on GH and brought much to GH! The powers that be should be ashamed of themselves for the slight they have given to the fine performers! I’m ashamed of Frank V. Of GH for not paying tribute to the fine performers May they rest in peace ! 🙏🙏🙏
Having been a fan of this show since the 70’s?It truly was sad to lose those 2.Jackie was just the heart of GH and Tyler I watched mature into a fabulous actor on this show.RIP and dazzle them up there.Your presence on GH will forever be missed👏🏻🙏🏻💔

Because GH don't care about him. They treated him like dirt and now they don't want to honor his memory since he passed away. That's why I stopped watching GH. They don't need my ratings for how they treated some of there cast members. Look what they did with Roger Howarth also.

I don’t think they were dating anymore. She didn’t even comment or acknowledge that he passed.
So sad..al these beautiful individuals passing. This is a tragedy that should have NEVER happened and could have been avoided! Praying for the rest of the dedicated cast who are still at risk!🙏🙏🙏
I've watched general hospital since I was a teen.Jackie was the best actress.Always wanted to meet me as we were close in age.Love Tiffany Billy and Tyler..We will miss them!

I know what you mean and I don't know this for sure, but think people are hesitant to mention Billy because of the way he died. I think it’s probably out of respect for his family. I could be wrong about this, but it’s the only thing I can think of.

I find it really annoying that they are continuing to have Bobbie as an active character. It makes me wonder if they are going to recast or something.
They won't. All he'll would break out if they did.

I find it really annoying that people say the same think over and over without knowing facts. She died during the strike, the writers were not in. Did you want some random people that knew nothing about her to do it? Didn’t think so. The writers just got back about a month ago and they film 1-2 months in advance. So they’re just getting back into it. They’re going to do it to bring justice to her, just like they did for Sonya. Just be patient. It’ll be soon.

Does anyone think it’s odd that we haven’t heard much about how Tyler passed, other than it being a “cardiac incident”? Usually it has to be confirmed by autopsy, and they are more clear than that when someone high profile dies. Not to mention that he was fairly young too.
It was likely a heart attack brought on by heart issues from his former alcoholism. 😞
We know what's occurring, but the show must go on....
joniklly, I just read an update "today" (Jan. 27th Saturday) on yahoo news of the autopsy report on Tyler, he "sadly" died while seriously intoxicated with so much alcohol in his system and the "physical position" he was in made him die of suffocation, in other words the position he was in slowly stopped his breathing...which must have been a very painful death. I started crying today when I read how he died and how painful it was. Addiction is a heartbreaking thing. I saw on one of Maurice's Bernard Mind shows (you can find it on youtube) he reposted an in debt interview with Tyler from about two years ago. Tyler was very honest in that interview, no holds barred, he told Maurice about his alcohol addiction and bi polar and what had happened to him since 2019 when things got incredibly serious and when drunk he banged his head and had to have "cranial surgery" and I don't think he was the same since that happened, his heart couldn't take the traumas anymore..

Tyler died of alcohol intoxication and suffocation. The way his body was bent over while intoxicated made him slowly stop breathing and he died of suffocation and intoxication. His heart was also failing...according to the autopsy report. He must of suffered as he died so heartbreaking..

@sarakennedy2633 They did something for her last year did they not? They did a funeral on the show for her and still mention her on the show. She got more than a mention.

I'm more upset over billy miller because at least they honored sonya! billy wasn't on the show anymore I know that but neither was tyler but they honor him and I know he was on the show for 20 years but billy deserved a mention at least but I shouldn't be surprised because they don't care about him which they showed by how they got rid of him on the show! y&r honored him and he hadn't been on that show in almost 10 years!!
