I was taken back by how Sammy looks so blessed. His love for life and people, His high hopes for tomorrow's future endeavors but... like a lot of my favorite rock stars, sadly, unexpectedly, suddenly without any basic instructions before leaving earth get taken before establishing plan B. (R.I.P. Kobe) I'm not talking about the life experience at age 72, I'm talking about knowing your Creator and Savior in case all the sudden life ends as you know it. As a Christian Sammy Hagar fan, I pray for him to join TeamJesus. This ain't no New Age Cult. It's Now and always has been. Get Jesus Sammy and quench that thirst of yours. Heaven won't be the same without Sammy Hagar to help us JAM at the Marriage Supper Of The LAMB. (Revelation 19:9 ) Holy Bible. God Bless You Sammy.

Ages ago my brother moved to Cali for a while, Santa Barbara, and ended up working at the front desk for a really nice hotel. They got tons of rich & famous people. So Sammy checks in one time & my bro tells him he grew up listening to my Sammy records (and that Montrose record) and so Sammy hung out talking to him for like 15-20min.Cool! Fast forward, Sammy calls down "Hey is this "Blank"?!" My brother says yes. "Hey brother! I wasn't planning on this so did a shitty job packing! Is there any way you could hook me up with toothpaste and a toothbrush?!" So bro gets the stuff & heads up to Sammy's room, big sincere thank you and MONSTER tip. Great guy, right? Not done! The next day when my brother was getting to work, just getting to the front doors he hears a bellowing voice from the parking lot. "Hey! HEY! IS that my GUY?!" Bro turns and there's Sammy in the parking lot getting in someone's car. "Hey (blank)!! Hey bro, how's it going man? If you're here when I get back let's talk, have a GREAT day!!" My brother called me (several states away) from WORK to let me know! So yeah, Sammy's the real-deal, grounded, cool dude he looks like!

But the older I get, the more I simply respect people like Hagar, who have immeasurable fame and fortune yet remain kind and down to earth. I try to exhibit similar characteristics, even in humbler circumstances. We can’t all be celebrities, but we can all be nice. Now more than ever.

Sam is an unlikely rock star. He comes down on the left side of the political spectrum. He is not really a narcissist and although he probably has more than he needs I have long had the impression that he genuinely cares about other people. His bands are polyglot and he remembers his friends. He probably more than anyone exemplifies the best aspirations of many while sticking with "be kind to the people you meet on your way to the top". I have met musicians who have worked with him and they have confirmed this impression.

He sounds like he is 23 not 73 but with wisdom. When people compare Roth to Sammy, they need to consider this interview...I just can't see Dave focusing on others for very long like Sammy does. Sam's the real deal...I;m a believer! He is doing exactly what I would if I was in his position. Blessings Sam...
