These are absolutely brilliant, so funny, I can't stand up for laughing. I've heard many of these in the original programmes but as a compilation they really bring home the humour, with Humph's deadpan delivery. . ISIHAC = fantastic programmes.
I love ISIHAC. I've listened to it for years. It's gloriously silly - rather like a radio version of pantomime. So many of the old troupers have died, but there are plenty of good talents coming up to replace them so I can see it continuing for many more years yet.
I disagree. I was sure they'd never be able to replace Humph, but Jack Dee has proven to be excellent. Willie and Tim were brilliant, as was Barry, but plenty of the new people are also excellent in their own way. I never understand why people always feel the need to compare such things. The old stuff was great, the new stuff is great. Who cares if one scores 99 out of a hundred when the other scores 98?@@markcampbell8950
I was lured here by Samantha and Lionel Blair , how did they get away with it on Radio 4 at Sunday lunch times, Thanks Mark, now a subscriber ,love radio comedy but will check out your .short films etc .
One of the writers said they got away with so much because Humph wouldn’t say it like a joke, he’d say it completely seriously and people would just sssume they’d misheard him or something 😂
The script and the presentation are glorious. No comedy exists today that makes me laugh like it has with this show since the 70s.
Indeed! While still funny, ISIHAC is these days a shadow of its former self.
Listened to this show for years . Always brilliant.
Thank you so much for this. It's not often one laughs more or less continuously for half an hour.
My favourite was very simple: “despite the musical nature of this round, Colin Sell will be providing accompaniment on the piano”.

Thankyou so much for your lovely comments. It was a labour of love compiling these, so it's great that people are enjoying them!
Classic! Thanks for uploading.
Thanks!
love the Tim attempt to correct Humphs script mis-reading loosing the roasting on that weeks show !
Monday May 4th, 6.30 pm Radio 4, ISIHAC tribute to Tim folks, Don't miss it.
Good call!
Thank you for uploading.
You are very welcome!
and now Colin Sell the Piano - do you mean Colin Sell on the Piano? - No it was an instruction, not an intro

True, but it will never be as good without Humph, TBT, Willie Rushton etc...
@@markcampbell8950 No, I agree. They were one-offs and totally irreplaceable.
