    Not to take anything away from Umar, he's a great player but I feel they should split this award into two categories, an Offensive and Defensive award, I feel like strikers are at an edge because they have more apparent stats, congrats to Umar but a change would be nice.

      It's be hard go keep tracks stats for defenders especially when there could be up to five defenders playing at one time for each team

      @Wes Fox But there are many awards for football. The top of each positions essentially gets a major award. So yeah, they should have 4 - top goalkeeper, top fullback, top midfielder, and top forward.

      Because sometimes it’s really the defenders that make the team solid

    Attackes are generally going to receive awards purely because they score goals and look flashy.

      Mattsoccerr that’s not how it works its because theyre just better than everyone else if a goalkeeper could keep a clean sheet for an entire season then they will get the award

    but if this kid went to Europe he wouldn’t last... I’d reckon he’ll play in the 2nd division in the US

    • @abdulhairerahaman8332

      Bro he graduated from Right to dream academy and this academy has produced some great talents in Europe. Kudus Mohammed of Ajax is a typical example. He graduated from Right to Dream he’s at Netherlands bossing up midfields. So this boy can last in Europe. It is a matter of adaptation. Y’all underate American talents too much

      Concord™ The boarding schools recruit and these kids are really really good. Most normal highschools arent as good.

    • @TheUnknownGreyGuy
      @TheUnknownGreyGuy 7 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      No. You're wrong. He plays in a terrible prep league and in fact, many schools that are public could hold up what he got to offer. This is coming from a player in a top 15 team in Texas, one of the better states for soccer

    • @rtully
      @rtully 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Concord™ no you're wrong. He played in the same league as jack harrison. How would you know and did I ask about texas?

    • @teddison11
      @teddison11 7 ปีที่แล้ว +12
