It's cruel to keep them sedated and shouldn't be allowed anywhere. No way I would ever pay or support that place to abuse such beautiful animals. How could anyone not know that is not normal to be able to just walk up and think it's ok.. I'm with you..NOOOO

I was so pissed about it and there is a whole back story of her own abuse of her cats so even more messed up to bait her audience- a great topic to discuss surrounding the tourism industry though and why doing research is important. I am going to try and look up ethical wildlife places in Thailand like the elephant sanctuary I’m going to

She’s deleted hundreds of comments telling her the reality of these places and only kept comments from fans who are just as uninformed and would put an animal through hell for a selfie…. She did not disavow and she went off and doubled down on her actions and how these places are fine to the animals

Omg her live today I had to turn it off because of her defense and stance against everyone with concern about it. With this mindset she is absolutely dangerous to be in the travel space as an influencer if she sees nothing wrong with it. I saw @justbreezintoday going through some of the comments and she was deleting them in real time…so disappointing, I’ve seen people who are just getting out in the world who are not intentionally trying to do harm but learn and grow from it and there is no excuse for the way she has reacted to finding out that this place isn’t good

@@TalktothePalm not sure how long you’ve followed Chantal but for brevity’s sake she has consistently shown a pattern of behavior where she does not apologize for or own her actions ever. She’s her own worst enemy and totally selfish and ill informed on pretty much any topic…. Also there is years of documented neglect towards her cats which she would consistently yell and block viewers who tried to help ( some even sending money for vet visits which she refused to do for years…) it was discovered her cat had five nails embedded in her pads bc of her neglect

unfortunately, I have watched through that situation which is disgusting, I actually hold Peetz just as responsible too. And FFGs current pic of BBJ shows how healthy she now looks. Maybe I was hoping that her "travel" and being confronted by actual evidence of this place being bad would have helped but yeah it doesn't change clearly. (why I had an ounce of hope she would say yeah that was wrong after bbj and sam, I have no idea) I have seen how good people don't think about this in the world and feel horrible after the fact and become good advocates for ethical travel in their future (in the influencer space) but she really is that helpless, and per usual her clap back shows she knows she is in the wrong becuase the lengths she goes to prove there was nothing wrong with it. @@rileyshine

@@TalktothePalm all she does is double down and make excuses….. no want to change ever she’s in arrested development which is why she’s also never been successful on her weight loss journey she refuses to change

except that one time with the snow, there was a slight drop 🙄@@rileyshine terrifying to know people like this exist, they want to be right so bad that they will defend animal abuse for the love of God

Could not watch the video. Tone deaf to animal cruelty even when it’s in their face.
It’s not cool. It’s cruel. Thank you for posting this. We need to promote ethical tourism and also as tourists have a conscience about these things. I went Seaworld years ago with a family and refused to see any of the whales there. I took a stand against it. This was 20 years ago.
To say “I didn’t know “ is not an excuse these days. Because you can look up information instantly .

I did not enjoy watching it at all and I know a lot of people didn’t react to it but in the travel space it’s so important to talk about this stuff because where we spend our money on vacation can make an impact, I appreciate your comment! It’s so important and I see the industry slowly trying to change over for the better but the more we talk about it and find better alternatives for activities on vacation the better. I was a little worried people would be mad that I reacted to the whole video but it’s just so important for people to see that this place is not ok and if they see a place like this in the future it should be a red flag immediately. Thanks for the comment 🩵
