Keech shared: “This decade coming up ahead of us is the energy decade. What we saw in tech, we are going to see in energy. We are going to see this in everything from investment in nuclear energy, renewables, oil and gas. I think this is a situation where we are going to see a massive spike in investment in energy.”

    I love these interviews, especially when they detail an investment they're in. For me Muddy Waters are a hired gun for the big shorts who don't want to publicly short a company.

    Is the carbon credits market dead yet or what? I remember the CEO of Equinox left to start a carbon credit company, timing seems terrible, EQX soaring while carbon credits down down down.

      Not dead, but took a beating in 2023. Market has been consolidating this year and we're seeing months with all time high credit sales on volumes. Prices still below all time highs, but $$ are growing around high quality projects.

      It is gambling if there is no rationality behind a stock purchase. It is speculation if you have developed an operating thesis with calculated probabilities (risk/reward).

      Featured TCF at 7c and it went to 62c and traded hundreds of millions of shares over a period of two years between 40c and 50c. That is in a huge win in speculative junior resource investing. Never buy a stock because someone on TH-cam you never even met and don't know talked about it. Most investors who watch this channel should never touch a speculative junior resource stock.

      I personally still hold the trillion TRLEF at a huge loss because I’m stupid and didn’t do my due diligence work & you never mentioned to sell it when you sold it quietly .
      Of course you sold it at our expense

    • @resourceinsider693
      @resourceinsider693 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'd say you're mostly right. Juniors should make up a small % of a mining/metals portfolio and an even smaller % of an overall portfolio. Most will be losers, but but for most investors they represent one of the few opportunities to easily position for "venture" style returns 10X plus... They deserve a place in a well balanced portfolio, but position size is key.
