I'm fairly new to wigs as my own hair is getting thin (age related). I have bought two Haircube wigs and been disappointed with both. One had to be returned because it was faulty - at the crown the wefts were clearly visible and I suspect I may have been given someone else's return. The second was a long bob with a side bang (we call that a fringe in the UK) that had so much permatease it was impossible to style. I even cut bangs into it and that didn't help. I'm keeping this one as a practice wig. I noticed since I bought mine there are other people who have bought this wig who have encountered the same problem. The wigs I like are my Creamily wig which was supposed to be a pixie cut but was actually a short bob. This is my go-to wig. My Vebonny wig which is a waist length wig with centre parting and bangs (I had to trim those) and also thin it out as it was too dense and heavy. It is a good match to my natural hair, so much so, my adult son thought it was my own hair (I wish). Latest wig arrived yesterday. It's a Lydell short pixie style wig. I like this one as it will style any way you want it. My one problem is the wig cap is on the big side for me even pulling the adjusters in. I'm probably a petite/average cap size so I will have to do a little modification on this one. One I have on my wish list is a Style Icon, 34 inch black (not my colour) with red and purple highlights in it. Not a wig I would wear every day but would be great for Halloween or even Christmas. I'm 66 and wish I'd discovered wigs years ago. They are just so much fun and every day is now a good hair day 😊 Subscribed.

@@wigs_n_roses Much as I like the Style Icon wig, I'm not sure if it will be suitable for me as it has quite a large cap at 22 3/4 - 23 inches. My circumference is 21 3/4 inches so it might be too big for me. I'm also wondering if that is why they are slow at selling. There are two. The one with the red and purple highlights through it and the other has green and blue highlights. Not one has been sold yet. I was hoping someone would buy one and review it so I could get an idea of the size etc. It's on my wish list so I'm keeping an eye on it.
These types of wigs look better with bangs. So great choice to review! You could put some shadow root to the part line to make it look more realistic. I like to spend a bit more and get a lace front.

Ah, yeah, the size might be an issue. You can "increase" your head size by wearing a wig grip, but not more than 0,5 inches, I think
