Hello two year old video. I am just getting into Forbidden Psalm.
The monster doesn't get a -3 when attacking back. If you were playing against a human opponent their figures would get the penalty, but monsters (or any AI figure) always roll at a target number of 12 with no modifier for counter attacking.
Page 29 from the Forbidden Psalm core rules: "EXAMPLE. A Feasting Wendigo sees Nifehl the Hermit and rolls 2D6 to see how far it moves. It rolls a 5 which is enough to reach Nifehl the
Hermit. When it reaches him it then immediately attacks and Niflhel attacks back at the same time at a -3.
Jotna the Unholy on his turn then decides to join the fray and charges into the combat attacking the Wendigo. However, unlike player controlled models, the wendigo does not get a -3 to attack
back, as monsters always roll against a target of DR12."

I continue to kick myself for not picking up those big old chunks of Citadel Terrain back when they were available. 🙁 Witchfate Tor and Dreadstone Tower are super expensive these days.
That was a nail-biting finish to this mission. 😬😬😬 Maybe Vriprix is like "The One"; gaining power whenever a version of him is slain?
