FIXED MY HP SCAN TO NETWORK FOLDER ISSUE AND I HAVE TO SHARE. I don't know if you have this problem but here was mine. After spending 4 hours trying to get the Hp scan to network folder to work and finding absolutely no live support from Hp I finally figured out the problem. After doing a fresh install of Windows 10 after my motherboard died, I installed Windows 10 and added a PIN. Apparently, I had also added a passcode too. While trying to get my Hp M277DW color laser setup, it kept giving me an error connecting to server when running the save and test at the end of the wizard. After a few hours of reprogramming over and over, sharing the folder, using new folders, etc etc, I decided to use the passcode instead of the PIN when the Hp wizard asks for a user name and passocde and it worked. FINALLY! You have to use the passcode and NOT the PIN that you may be using when accessing Windows 10. Hopefully this helps somebody that has been dealing with the same issue.
I tried every thing Finally decided to turn it off Held the set up button down until it stopped initializing printed a document inside the scanner to retract it back to its proper place. Restarted computer and VOILA IT WORKING🥂
The printer will pront but will not scan even after removing the deiver and re-install it. What could be the problem when re-installing the driver does not work? Last question, does the driver have to be installed from the disc; the driver cannot be downloaded, if it is an option?
My issue ended up being complications due to the installation of Adobe. The scanner opens a tiny window in the background asking where to scan. I didn't see the tiny window.

Hi. Make sure you have the document you want to copy facing up... before you do anything else scan to a pdf file and see what that looks like....
