    I am especially glad to be quoting the Sar Bachan Radhasoami Poetry of Soamiji Maharaj during today's podcast, as today is the his death anniversary. He left the body on June 15th, 1878. From the Last Words of Soamiji Maharaj of Agra: "Addressing Lala Seth Pratap Singh, Soamiji Maharaj observed: 'The Faith I had given out was that of Sat Naam and Anami. The Radhasoami Faith has been introduced by Salig Ram (Huzur Maharaj). You should let it also continue. Satsang must go on. Satsang shall spread far and wide in future.'"

    I am born 3rd time in radhasoami satsang.. i was initiated by satguru dayal soamiji maharaj in 1856 then 2nd time i was born in 1907.. and then in 1996.. i remember few visions from those two lives, i have seen most of my visions during meditation.. when satguru dayal says " hamne pakdi surat tumhari jab tum janam na paye. Karm hisab baithaya ayesa satsang main bulvaye".. i have experienced gurudayal's apar daya..
    Radhasoami 🙏

    When i was child, i saw same dream many times. Its really hard to describe. I didnt have body, constant sound of falling screaming people like shepard tone. Geometrical spinning shapes. Everything were beige/grey/brown/dark. Like cave with polygonal walls that spin and change size. As a kid i was terrified.

    Is it possible to meet a master at the third eye center as i come through?

    I want to ask a serious question. Does Sant Mat as a spiritual path and process, contradict Advaita (nonduality). I am asking this because Advaita says that the ultimate understanding is Nondual (Kevalam) or Shunyata (in Buddhism). But, when one studies the ascension of the soul through regions, does one not fall into duality? Is salvation someplace else and not here? Is the final understanding (or self realisation) not that there is nowhere to go, it is here and now? If you could shed some light or point me in the right direction. Will be obliged.

      @SpiritualAwakeningRadio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Meditation is a transition of consciousness from the unreal to the real. Illusion appears to be duality but the reality in nonduality.

      Please read the book "Crown of Life" by Param Sant Kirpal Singhji Maharaj... that will answer your question and will help you realize that there is something beyond shunyata. Also read "Mystery of Death".

    Hi there, After a particular Masters death, S.M.R. broke up into many sub groups....How do you know which one has the correct lineage & teachings? Also, what about mind training? It seems to me that if I can't take my sadhana off the meditation cushion, it's not much and if I can't be in control of myself via the mind, it's also not much.....Thank you

    • @SpiritualAwakeningRadio
      @SpiritualAwakeningRadio  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      One can approach any subject or pursuit or path with a snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory spirit, but best to attempt to snatch victory out of the jaws of defeatism and make use of the short amount of time we have focusing on taking the highest road available to us and make progress with meditation practice (sadhana). "S.M.R. broke up into many sub groups..." I assume the initials here perhaps stand for Sant Mat Radhasoami, but I suspect you're referring specifically to the various factions that emerged after the passing of Master Kirpal back in 1974 as there was no successor that had been publicly named in advance, only privately and via a will that few had been privy to, thus a bit of chaos for a time and numerous succession claims. Perhaps you yourself have some tangential awareness of goings-on in one of those satsangs sounds like. Actually there have always been some succession controversies since the beginning of time in all paths, east & west, certainly after the passing of Guru Nanak, Kabir, etc..., at every step of the way. I could do a class on this and have indeed researched all of the various sangats and teachers rather thoroughly. But the etiquette I follow here with public podcasts is that of the satsang format, to affirm the positive, a positive mysticism, to state who and what I am FOR, not what I'm not for, in order to benefit people, promote meditation practice (going far beyond the meditation cushion) and focus on the meaningful for those interested in making spiritual progress during this life. What and who do I value as competent, qualified as avenues to Truth? That's all part of the content and the sole focus here.

      @@SpiritualAwakeningRadio I understand however if initiation is needed then initiation from the proper source is needed. Can you point me to the proper source sir?

    • @SpiritualAwakeningRadio
      @SpiritualAwakeningRadio  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Indeed. Though I don't publicly proselytize, if someone emails me asking about initiation, there's a couple of different teachers I might recommend. But it all depends on who's contacting me and what they say about themselves... if they follow the lacto-vegetarian diet, etc... Without getting a sense of the person it would be difficult for me to vouch for them and recommend them to a teacher. Communication is the key.

    I'm a beginner of meditation and I thought you were suppose to focus on your breathing. Do I focus on the third eye or the breathe?

    • @SpiritualAwakeningRadio
      @SpiritualAwakeningRadio  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for your question and for finding the podcasts. While taking a couple of deep breaths at the start of meditation can be relaxing, Sant Mat meditation doesn't focus on the breath, as this is one of the involuntary or automatic bodily functions, what we call part of the "motor-currents" of the body. The goal is to not be tethered to the body but to focus at the third eye center (seat of the soul), go within and rise up, to be free as a bird flying through mystic skies. So the breath goes on automatically during meditation. As one relaxes in meditation, one's breath is likely to slow down somewhat. In Sant Mat we work with the "sensory currents", close our physical eyes and focus within, with inner seeing and inner hearing to explore the many wonders of inner space.

      Thank you for the response, I enjoy listening to your podcast. I've been studying Gnostism particularly the gospel of Phillip. for several years. I was wondering if you could do a podcast about the Sacrament of the Bridal Chamber mystery. Philip speaks of attaining the resurrection while you're still alive contradicting the new testament that you will be resurrected after death. It would be interesting to hear your opinion about this.

    • @SpiritualAwakeningRadio
      @SpiritualAwakeningRadio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Gospel of Phillip is a beautiful book authored by someone in the Valentinian tradition. I suspect the language about the bridal chamber relates to meditation practice within the temple of the human body and suggests intimacy with the Beloved, which became a theme in many schools of mystics of the centuries. All temples are illustrations in stone of the human form pointing to the soul and God being at the center in the inmost part of the temple, a place of oneness between soul and God (atonement, at-one-ment, holy of holies). On a present-tense resurrection, that's a theme in several Nag Hammadi texts including the Gospel of Thomas. There's a great video titled, Treatise on Resurrection, by M. David Litwa that explores this rather nicely and also translates into the experience of the Divine, Divine Light and the Spiritual Dimension (New World) via spiritual practice. In fact, his whole series on second century teachers is quite a treasure, based on the book, Found Christianities: th-cam.com/video/tmQQt640xmI/w-d-xo.html

    Why some people think that they don't need any living Master?

    • @SpiritualAwakeningRadio
      @SpiritualAwakeningRadio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It all depends on how much pondering someone does, how much introspection. Most of our beliefs and practices are inherited. Even the diet most follow is inherited, just going along with tradition. Most don't even choose their beliefs, but just go along with what they have been given, family history, customs of the time. To be sure, living masters are rare to find in this world. So one will have to break free from traditions and consciously make their own choices, willing to adopt a minority point of view, no doubt leading to a spiritual search.
      Kabir: "There is nothing but water at the holy bathing places; and I know
      that they are useless, for I have bathed in them.
      The images are all lifeless, they cannot speak; I know, for I
      have cried aloud to them.
      The Purana and the Koran are mere words; lifting up the curtain,
      I have seen.
      Kabîr gives utterance to the words of experience; and he knows
      very well that all other things are untrue."
      Kabir: "I have stilled my restless mind, and my heart is radiant: for in
      Thatness I have seen beyond That-ness. In company I have seen
      the Comrade Himself.
      Living in bondage, I have set myself free: I have broken away
      from the clutch of all narrowness.
      Kabîr says: "I have attained the unattainable, and my heart is
      coloured with the colour of love."
