I want to express my deepest gratitude for Swami Sarvapriyananda. I can clearly segregate my life into two distinct phases: Pre-Swami Sarvapriyananda and Post-Swami Sarvapriyananda. Before coming across your wise lectures on Advaita Vedanta, I was navigating life with a limited understanding and full of suffering. However, his profound and deeply insightful teachings have completely transformed my life. Through his clear and compassionate guidance, I have not only understood the core essence of life , but I’ve also experienced a significant shift in my consciousness. His wisdom has opened my eyes to the deeper truths of existence, leading me to live with greater awareness, inner peace, and compassion. The clarity with which he explains these ancient truths has made them accessible and relevant to my daily life. I cannot thank him enough for being the guiding light on my spiritual journey. He has been instrumental in helping me break free from old conditioning, and his teachings continue to illuminate my path. I look forward to learning more from him and applying the timeless wisdom of Advaita Vedanta in every moment. With heartfelt gratitude 🙏🙏

I have read many self help books over the years and have also listened to lectures by many well known gurus, but there is something very special about Swami Sarvapriyananda. I discovered Swami Ji just a couple of days ago and I am so lucky to have found him. He is also a Bengali like myself and we come from the same part of the world.
My heart finds peace in your teachings Swami Sarvapriyananda, and i find in them the inspiration to go out in the world and try again... and again... I'm grateful to have found Vedanta Society, thank you all for your efforts to keep lighting the road, the minds and the hearts.

In "Theravada" Buddhism in Sri Lanka, all enlightened "Baghavath Buddhas" appear on earth after eons of life times of purification of the mind, as a fulfilling universal qualification to perfecting qualities of "conscious energies" described in Sri Lankan Buddhist texts "Pali Thripitaka" as "paramitha kamma" (perfectible universal deeds). The Baghvath Buddha has described beings existing in 31 realms. All creations in this universes are "energies" with influence of the "elements" under "causality". The Buddha has described how universal energy called "kamma" manifests in human form through human faculties of seeing, hearing, smelling, taste, touch & mind (past experiences) called aggregates, amalgamating with external world experiences of feelings through the Human heart organ as electrical signals to develop a "seed" to become "conscious energy" which continues to the brain as a "thought" and this continuation of experience is stored in the "sub conscious" mind in the human brain called "mano" (pali ) (mind) in Buddhism. This" perception " action is called "thought". Thought becomes a conscious energy called "kamma/karma in Buddhism.

I’m mad at the Divine. It’s never protected me. It speaks to me at dark times only, when I can’t possibly agree with it. It’s a long story, but now I know how to listen, life is too hard and insecure. And no voice. Shiva is depicted as a gambler. Yes. Life is a gambling game - and war. I am very cynical about the Teachings. It’s a mess for householders. Soothsaying, but not helpful.
I know your state and everyone is experienced your state. All states are experiences we only witness it but not be it This is the Truth. Listen listen again and agiain to Swamy Sarvapriyananda guru. You will overcome the suffering. It helped me a lot. May God Bless us All

@12:50 describes "shadenfreude" ("the experience of pleasure, joy, or self-satisfaction that comes from learning of or witnessing the troubles, failures, pain, suffering, or humiliation of another."). It's funny how most people if they hear the definition first (not knowing there's a word for it), they'd deny any awareness of it. But, when you hear the word first, and wait for the definition, most people automatically think "yeah, I know what that is. I can relate to that." Somehow it penetrates more than asking "do you ever [fill in the definition]?} There's something pregnant about the word, people waiting to hear the definition, and they know they relate to it. Whereas, if you ask them "do you ever... [definition]" people will react "what? no, that's horrible." If you start with the new word, they don't realize what they're confessing to.
Ultimately, whatever has happened and will happen in the future has been etched on the block of the universe since forever and we are simply going through the motions. So there is no free will per se but God has given us the illusion of it, absent which things would descend into chaos. Also people who actually realise this in their bones are the free while living, and God takes hold of their hands and guides them in the world and doesn't allow them to take a wrong step. So if you see yourself to be taking a wrong step, it's a sign that you need to double down on your efforts to attain God. And what qualifies as a wrong step, it's essentially something that takes you away from God, something that binds you down to the world and mires you in worldliness.
I can see how a state of unattachment can assist in keeping one who is engaged in conflict resolution from getting the messy business on oneself. But, how can vedanta help to actually resolve conflict? That is what "peace" means to me. Am I wrong?
Two days ago I had never heard about Swami. When the student is ready, the teacher appears! 🙏
